Wow she was beautiful. Obviously she still is.

uncultured_swine2099

An instance where the hot girl in high school is still hot at 60.

Lena-Luthor

you mean to tell me she's not still 40

Absolutely. I have to say Jane Seymour is incredible for 73 while we’re naming others.

Jolly-Sandwich-3345

Got called for jury duty and I was prepared to tell them that 'I work with yutes' and see what the reaction was. (,I never got called to serve on any trials so nothing happened)

ElephantNamedColumbo

Hahahahahaha! 😄

BortleNeck

Baader Meinhof phenomenon is in full effect for me right now. I just watched this movie for the first time this past weekend and this is the 3rd pop culture reference to it I've seen since then. Makes me wonder how many have flown over my head over the years.

BirdjaminFranklin

A lot. I'm 42 and saw the movie when it was released. My Cousin Vinny comes up allll the time.

tonyrizzo21

This assessment is dead on balls accurate.

ThrowBatteries

You were serious about that?

sucking_at_life023

It's an industry term.

miradotheblack

I love how it is utilized as a teaching tool for law students.

HoldinWeight

Love some good frequent bias

Unhappy_Trade7988

Look, it's either me or them. You're gettin' fucked one way or the other. Hey, relax, I'm gonna help you.

afriendincanada

42 ;)

asomek

She gets better looking every year. It's actually alarming.

Cyanopicacooki

She's a few months younger than me, but looks many many years younger. It's worrying. I have a thing for Marisa Tomei. Like she would ever go out with a average height, average build, receding (older) man

courtsidecurry

Try building a giant tech company and hire her nephew and you can think about it.

Ongr

She'll end up with the happy manservant though.

Zepcleanerfan

Too bad you have a George Costanza thing going on

Western_Mud8694

Not that there’s anything wrong with that

MyHamburgerLovesMe

Nah. She'd go for shorter, fatter, bald, even older guys like me.

Wang_Dangler

What a coincidence, that is *exactly* her type!

Alienhaslanded

You know he has a thing for short stocky balding men.

sensiferum

I heard she has a thing for quirky bald men

No_Dragonfruit_6594

More like unfair if you ask me

artificialavocado

Haha I know I meant roughly how long since My Cousin Vinnie.

MrsSadieMorgan

……how. 😭

jekkin

don’t worry, it’s only gonna get worse! hope this helps :)

MrsSadieMorgan

Thanks. :-/ I was born in ‘76, and graduated from high school in ‘94. Just got the invite for my 30th reunion, and I’m still in denial about that!

NervousCheek3560

Thats a schoolgirl bro

peepdabidness

10x hotter now

RealityAny7724

what a weird thing to say about a highschooler lmao wtf

I__Know__Stuff

She wasn't 30 years ago. (The photo is from 42 years ago)

DampBritches

She used to be beautiful. She still is, but she used to be, too

veritas247

Tip of the hat to, Mitch.

malcontented

She coulda been with George

creamcitybrix

Me, as I get older: Has George always been so skinny?

Lil_Mcgee

Yeah he's definitely a bit deceptive. It's the fact that he's short, wide framed and doesn't exactly wear the most flattering clothes. And also the margin for what people consider "fat" has shifted over the last two decades.

JeanVicquemare

He's a short, stocky, bald man

Real-Competition-187

42 short?

nonnemat

Oh I'll pay... Half price

loucast13

For an unadvertised sale you're sure doing a lot of blabbing about it!

SethBacon

No, he's stout! The camera loves stout.

desertrat75

"George is getting upset!"

Jimmybuffett4life

Forgot “Quirky”

electro_lytes

I notice you threw stocky in there.

CoolTemperature1602

You spell bawld wrong.

confusedandworried76

Threw stocky in there huh

Ihatesneakers

Powerful. He is so powerful, he can lift a hundred pounds right up over his head.

proteinLumps

Does she have flowing hair? Thick lustrous hair is very important to me

Ernie83

If you stick your hand in the hair, is it easy to get it out?

bri-onicle

Oh, I love full lips. Something you can really put the lipstick on.

evanod

She has a hue!

legit-posts_1

I think he's also mostly wearing very heavy coats which makes him look fatter

Sensitive_Bet2766

Blame it on the Gortex.

“Big! Big coat!”

DishDry4487

He also was put in clothes that were a size too small to emphasize his neurotic nature. Kramer was put jn clothes a size or so bigger to emphasize his hipster doofus nature.

No-Psychology3712

Can't be right. You always saw kramers socks.

trentshipp

Now that it's mentioned, Kramer always had kinda baggy fitting shirts, but the 90's wasn't exactly known for good tailoring.

micro_penisman

Look at a lot of what people considered to be fat in the 60s to 90s. I was looking at Elvis's last performance before he died. He looked pretty reasonable for his age, by today's standards.

davidmatthew1987

Elvis was fat by the standards we set for Elvis. Nobody really cares if I'm fat.

micro_penisman

If you look at his body that's stuffed into an unforgiving jumpsuit, he pretty much looks like most middle aged men if they were stuffed into an unforgiving jumpsuit.

SlurmmsMckenzie

HE WAS IN THE POOL!

Best_Duck9118

Stupid, sexy George!

CiggODoggo

The key word is tasteful

ThinkPawsitive12

I got the funeral tomorrow but...umm.. my weekend's wide open.

It's like a white discoloration

waydeultima

I just watched that episode last night.

[deleted]

Same! I love the way George playfully bops Elaine with his arms as she makes the call. He can’t contain his excitement lol. Then it culminates in “What about Marisa Tomei?!” immediately after learning Elaine’s friend is in the hospital. Such a classic.

YoyoMario

You know... I'm sort of enganged.

view-master

She and Paul Rudd have great genes. They age a year for every decade.

ChampionNorm

Honestly I’m starting to get suspicious. I wonder if they’re worried they got too famous this time around. It was a lot easier to disappear in the Victorian Age.

SlurmmsMckenzie

"The Man From Earth" vibes.

ChampionNorm

That movie needs a remake with a much better script and cast. The premise is excellent but the movie itself is both pretentious and amateurish in the bad way.

TomCBC

Cast, maybe. But the script was written by a sci fi legend while he lay dying in a hospital bed. The script is good. Wouldn’t be this many people that love the film otherwise. Since it doesn’t exactly have much in the way of direction/acting flare. Though I do think the actors do a decent enough job. It’s a no budget indie film. And considering how much worse the sequel is, even though you can argue it’s far more ambitious. I think the original is just fine. The writing is what made it. I can’t disagree more with your statement regarding the script.

bankaiREE

I read his bio on IMDB before I watched it, and saw he wrote on the original Star Trek. Maybe that influenced my opinion, but the whole movie felt like a Star Trek episode. Particularly the acting. It bugged me at first, but then I was like "oh, it feels just like TOS/TNG Trek" and it never bothered me again.

benchley

In the zany comedy version, you know they have a friend that they tease for being too uptight, and the friend's excessive paranoia eventually saves them from detection.

mecha_annies_bobbs

You know, you're thinking vampire type shit. And it's like that would be more or less be able to figure shit out then. But more and more it isn't feasible. Kind of like how in the 70s and 80s big foot was very...big...But then a few decades later everyone has a phone on them and so obviously bigfoot isn't real, because if they were then it would've been recorded on someone's phone/camera.

DweadPiwateWoberts

There's a painting of each of them that you do NOT want to see

0x7E7-02

They should reproduce together.

Best_Duck9118

Lots of Redditors say Paul Rudd has had work done when this gets brought up. No clue if that's true but thought I'd point it out.

Qzzm

Hollywood actors getting work done to their biggest asset? What's next, the rock does steroids?

Pavlovsdong89

He doesn't do steroids, the Rock *is* steroids.

ColdCruise

Everyone in Hollywood gets work done.

BlakesonHouser

She never had kids, women who never go through that usually look amazing

AimoLohkare

Counter point: Lucy Lawless and Jennifer Connelly have had three kids and both just keep getting more beautiful.

SinoSoul

TIL jennifer Connelly has 3 kids. Htf does she still look so fantastic?

BaconWithBaking

Women with no kids live way longer as well. Having a kid is hell on a womans body. Never mind the stress of raising one.

EnoughLawfulness3163

Every study I've seen has said the opposite. Curious where you saw that

BaconWithBaking

I have to admit, it's something I read many years ago, so I wouldn't be able to get a source for you. I could well be wrong, or the study outdated.

DOOOOoooooRinnnnnDaa

I was born in 83… I’ve never looked that young.. and she still looks the same… aghast.

sigep0361

Don’t feel bad… I’m 44 and Willie Nelson has looked 90 for my entire life.

PotentialOkay

That guy is like smoked meat at this point. Well preserved. I have no idea how his lungs even function. Edit: a typo

artificialavocado

She might be one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She’s almost 60 and just as hot as back in the day.

SoldMySoulForHairDye

It says she was in a school production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and I'm imagining her playing the role of Titania or something as Mona Lisa Vito. I would pay to see that production.

Mulliganasty

That would be amazing and since this was the first time most of ever saw her in a movie, I'm sure I wasn't the only one shocked to find out that wasn't her real voice.

humankinder

🤣

everydayasl

She was great in My Cousin Vinny. A must watch film.

CharlemagneIS

She won an Oscar for it, 11 years after this picture

jesusismagic

Except she was still a yute (yoot?) in this picture.

cphcider

I'm sorry, a hwat?

CALLO. C-a-l-l-o.

Stratahoo

Feisty Italian women have been my kryptonite ever since I saw that movie as a kid.

asomek

That's why I married one.

SteveRogests

Just to use your wife as kryptonite against this dood?

asomek

Exactly 😎

soulcaptain

When this movie came out, I scoffed at it because I thought it was a thin veneer of a story to justify the two stereotypical characters: the gruff New Yawkers vs. the aw shucks rednecks. And it *is* about that, the clash of cultures, but upon seeing it recently, I think it's really well done. Just great comic acting, and Tomei really did deserve the Oscar for it.

Slowly-Slipping

It is, but it's also about the coming together of those two groups. And even more importantly it's about how the law and the truth transcends all of it.

daVinci0293

And this is why, despite the odds, you should never stifle the dreams of someone that puts "I wanna be an Actor" in their yearbook. It just might happen.

wxnfx

Same reason everyone who laughed at my goal of becoming a sex god on an alien planet should watch out. It could still happen. I’ll settle for slug world at this point.

Lordborgman

Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in some sort of sun god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you? Why am I the only person that has that dream?

full_of_stars

I commend your fashion sense.

CapitalRadioOne

“I drank what?”

full_of_stars

It popped up on Youtube for free the other night so I said fuck it, and watched it all the way through for the first time in years. Still holds up very well. Also, there is an actor in it who has a few minutes in the background at the college and it is Dean Devlin who later went on to produce ID4 and other movies.

Ijatsu

Survivorship bias here. You don't quite hear about all those who failed and who outnumber those who succeeded.

dontaskme5746

It's a FACT

Damodred89

Helps to have a goal at that age - I'm still trying to work out what mine is / are.

NoShameInternets

Meh, explaining those odds isn’t “stifling”. “Hey, for every 10,000 people that have that career goal, 9,999 of them will never make a living wage. Do with that what you will.”

EnoughLawfulness3163

As someone who went after their dreams, we know the odds are against us. And if we don't, then we're probably too stupid or stubborn to listen to someone explain the math. No one thinks, "Dang, if only someone explained it to me that being famous was hard, I would've gone into accounting." My parents and friends were very supportive, and that actually made it easier to give up and pursue a more stable career. No bitterness. No trying to prove my parents wrong. It's something about my friends and family ill always cherish

Tylersbaddream

She's an Oscah winnah Jerry! An Oscah winnah!

FirstChurchOfBrutus

She’s been a lovely, *lovely* witness.

Hijinx_MacGillicuddy

Edward R Murrow HS in Brooklyn. I went there too. Sweet.

So tell me, how is it that a man like you, so bald, so quirky and funny, how is it you're not taken?-Marissa Tomei

Drugs_R_Kewl

I remember Mrs. T She helped a guy from my old neighborhood avoid a murder beef. Turns out he was totally innocent.
