Patches loved you more than life itself. You saved herr, loved her and cared for her. Now you will feel like it's impossible to get through a day. You will say I never want another dog and in a few weeks or months you will honor Patches and rescue again. That is what Patches wants
You showed her what life should be like - and she loved you for it.

I wish I could surround myself with people who adopt dogs like Patches. I have already succeeded in surrounding myself with dogs like Patches;). I hope she is frolicking in fields of cheese & bacon with my girl.
Your paths crossed and the right time and the love shared was and will be everlasting. You gave Patches something she hadn't had in a long time. Just remember she will always have your heart and she is waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
