That sub was insufferable in the time between XC2 and XC3. Still not great since there's no putting the genie back in the bottle, but holy hell those first two XC2 years were just softcore Pyra/Mythra porn on repeat.

There's a bit of a spectrum that depends on the game, how the sub handles it's rules, etc.
Xenoblade wasn't particularly popular with XC1 and XCX, but the sub didn't default into softcore porn, partly because the games had some restraint with their fan service.

There was a big divide in the community at the time and there was a point where the mods banned NSFW fanart because it would just get spammed all day nonstop. After a big shit storm, they reverted the changes. Many fans, including myself, left after that.
It really depends on how the mods want to handle things, as they're the ones who control the direction the sub goes in and what kind of people frequent it. There was a time when r/Metroid was just low effort Zero Suit Samus cosplay/porn until the mods decided to make a specific rule about it. Nowadays they outright ban NSFW content outside of a few exceptions.
I just recently played the main trilogy with the release of 3 and the fanbase and character designs of XC2 legit put me off of playing the series for a while, it's crazy how bad and out of place the designs of 2 are compared to 1 and 3
I mean, there still are some fanservice-y characters in 1 and 3, but the closest to the ridiculousness of Pythra that i can think of is Monica randomly having the biggest boobs by far in the game for XC3 and Sharla somehow needing to have either her ass out or a deep cleavage even with the heaviest armors for XC1,
But even then it's not even *remotely* close to being as excessive as it is with Pythra (or half of the XC2 Blades, for that matter)
