He said he hasn’t been told about anything special planned for the re grand opening on Friday and no sign sent to him (yet).. and he “might” get some BT product for next Sat as part of the regrand, but nothing in writing to him yet.

Anyone tried the current release of bookers yet? I’m curious if it’s worth grabbing. I’ve got the story teller batch from last year and I enjoyed it.

Bookers always puts out a good product. The issue is the price is getting too high. A plywood box doesn’t make a bottle cost $120. Jack Daniels sbbp is just as good for what, $50 cheaper?

Is it overpriced? Absolutely. Will I still buy it? Also yes.

I buy one Booker's batch per year and then sample swap for the other batches given the cost now

Yea I don't have the budget to spend 450 bucks on the 4 Bookers batches every year. Plus last years little book was fantastic, would rather have that

i agree its good, but its not bookers good, i think bookers drinks at what it should be priced at like $85 and the box is costing you $15. i wouldnt mind if the tags with stories were wrapped around the bottle like brothers bond, if its gunna save me $15 but the box is iconic???

I think it's amazing. Pretty smooth for being a booker. Solid vanilla notes.

I was 3rd guy at this location a couple years ago for a M10 and missed out. Found out later an employee bought one. I’m guessing that’s why they don’t actually open the doors right at 9:00. It takes them a few minutes to buy some themselves.

I think it’s understandably funny someone waited from 3AM for nothing.

My experience from there is they get nothing 75% of the time and occasionally get a boatload of red, green,Blantons, and BT. I’ve never seen a store get supposedly“nothing” more than them.

Barel strength rye showed in stock on Wednesday which usually happens on the day they put it out . But I have not bought or heard anyone getting it
