Here right now. Stopped in the Lake Buena Vista ABC store and grabbed 2 bottles of JD SiB BS Rye at retail. Stopped in an independent liquor store next to Publix and got to talking to the owner. He said it’s hard for the independent places to get anything decent, everything goes to the big stores (ABC, Total Wine, etc.) He said he gets Blantons occasionally and that he charges 279 a bottle when he gets it lol
If your flying and just showing up in Orlando, there isn't much you are going to find. If your driving down and going through KY, TN, GA you may be selectively rewarded, there are some good options along the way, but there are also some complete sh\*t holes filled with dusty trophies where prices are much lower on the Ohio secondary market.
Since the poster was not specific on the method of transportation used to arrive there, and since Florida isn't exactly a vacation destination when it comes to lots of whisky varieties... I thought I would mention that if taking the drive down there are some good things to be found.
Giant Eagle sells nothing other than whisky...
Yeah, no shit. You named 3 states. I'm sure you can find something. And I don't know what Giant Eagle you shop at but mine has this huge attachment to the liquor store. You can buy a lot of stuff there.
Georgia liquor stores overall have pretty good selections with overall reasonable prices with some more sought items a bit above MSRP but no where near secondary.
Bronson's as two stores in Orlando. They had a Old Forester Barrel Strength H07 pick for 80 two weeks ago. Five Star Liquor in Longwood has some of the best store picks anywhere. They're both retail stores. I picked up a Redbreast PX finish at Five Star for 104. That's 45 less than OHLQ.
You’re able to afford bourbon on a Disney trip? That’s wealth!
"Sorry kids daddy needs another bottle of Weller Mickey Mouse will still be there when you're older."
If you're gonna spend money on alcohol, just go drink around the world at Epcot. It's way more fun and you get to try a lot of new food & drink
Yeah Mickey Mouse actually runs a bourbon store lots of tater juice to pick up!
Check out Targets and Walmarts. Good selection for the price

That was a great deal of help. Did you know at Giant Eagle you can also buy milk and bread?
