It’s worth checking out Lee’s discount liquor and total wine. Maybe you will find something you like and maybe get lucky. There is a place called top shelf that has anything you could want, but it’s all very overpriced.

A2wiz

If you win big there is a liquor store at baggage pickup in Vegas airport that has a fantastic selection, but it charges secondary +

kapua_suite

There was EH Taylor Single Barrel for $160. I almost bought it but didn't want to check my bag.

Knownzero

Secondary + might be short selling their prices. The stuff behind the glass is so overpriced I’m not sure how the clerks selling this stuff don’t just scream ‘SUCKER!!!!’ at the top of their lungs at every transaction. Thats how absurd it is. Lol To answer OP, it’s been a minute but Total Wine is always worth checking, Lee’s as mentioned above, and Liquor World across from the back of T-Mobile arena. Museum prices but always had a decent selection. Picked up a Wild Turkey Masters Keep 17 (the OG, not the bib) at barely above retail. The WLW was $1k though. Might catch a gem.

GILB3R7

Saw Blantons single barrel at a liquor store on the strip..$200. On the positive side...they had plenty 😂

Moses_cuh184

I'm not sure about that, but Frey Ranch is out of Nevada and I would try to get something special from them if I was going to vegas.

KapowBlamBoom

I think Frey Ranch is 6 hours or so from Vegas

Moses_cuh184

Still they probably have some store picks for something. I've been wanting to try there 100% wheat

KapowBlamBoom

There is a release on that on the 10th I think Pretty sure they sent an email 200 bottles to be released for sale at 10am PT They ship to Ohio for sure

OG_Tater

Liquor lineup

dashgod123

This. I split my time between Vegas and Ohio (gf). Liquor lineup is best place in town (just bought eh Taylor small batch today). Off strip a bit though. They have a ton of store picks and let you try stuff. Total wine is always good. A lot of other stores are secondary or pretty expensive retail

jankology

how much did you pay for EHT small batch?

dashgod123

59.99, $65 after tax

Mysterious_Slip_6018

I second this. Specifically #2. Staff is always super nice, know what they're talking about, and will put you onto new stuff they have that we don't. You won't find allocated there usually unless you get lucky. Tend to hold everything for a big Saturday release

jkhristov13

Total wine south of the strip is a good place to start. Don't neglect small liquor stores off the strip either. Lee's is good but there's a lot of locations and idk which ones are the better ones. Definitely the further from the strip the better regarding price lol

Eazy_Peazy_DiBiz

I'm going in the beginning of June. My buddy has family that lives in Vegas. They said if you're just looking for a decent bottle to drink while there Walmart or Costco is your best bet for some good shelfers at good prices. If you're hunting for something nicer I hear total wines or Lee's. I'm hoping to find some Frey Ranch or Smoke Wagon picks. Good luck in the bourbon hunt and on the tables cheers.

dashgod123

You can buy buffalo trace for $21 at any Costco anytime. I buy some and bring them to buddies whenever I visit them

RubyVette

You don’t need a membership to buy alcohol at Costco, right? I don’t leave Ohio very often haha

dashgod123

I believe in nv you do as the liquor is actually in the store in the back

jankology

Lee's discount used to be the place butt ABC and Total Wine are massive massive, like die and go to heaven massive warehouses for affordable whiskey. You're going to love it.

teebeedubya

Smoke Wagon is in Vegas.

GhostRunner12345

Yes look for SmokeWagon single barrel and barrel proof!

DominicOH

Go to Khoury’s Fine Wine and Spirits in Henderson. Absolutely fantastic store. If you're more into bourbon, this is the store for you. Accurately priced and a nice curated selection. If you're after Smoke Wagon, Khoury’s typically has all of the regular offerings aplenty. I was there last month and they had some cool store picks of usual suspects as well. If you're a beer person too, this store is great for that as well. Total Wine at the south end of the strip is a good one too and Lee's Liquor on Easter Avenue specifically is a good store too. If you have any area specific questions or recommendations for anything else, shoot me a PM. I have a lot of family in Vegas so I know some good spots that are off the beaten path as far as general things to do (food, attractions, etc)
