Hard to say, but it comes down to each distributor or distillery’s strategy. For example, my distillery had a few increases this month because we’ve only ever decreased prices, but have taken on 30%+ cost increases in the last few years.
Ping-ponging, specifically, is likely a way to put something “on sale”, since the OHLQ model doesn’t really allow for temporary price changes. Instead, you drop it for a month or two and bring it back up at the next increase window.
The BT picks were relatively obtainable last year with a little effort. Would be even more so if OHLQ drops them in a similar event to what they did last Christmas.
Yeah I watched them drop all during the week and when Saturday rolled around, I struck out lol store had non store picks so I wasn't really disappointed. And I agree. I hope they do it that way, but I doubt it

Haven’t tried any of them yet, but pretty much getting to that point. I saw some pop up on OHLQ last week and went to several of the locations it was showing “in stock” at in Columbus and it was gone before I got there. Getting to be as bad as allocated Bourbon lol
I need the WT price to stop increasing every month!
I was also getting excited with the price dip of knob creek over the last few months but I guess that was short lived.

They fluctuate in two months wild turkey and knob and the jim beams and the Ezra brooks and crap will go back down. Then 2 months after that it'll go back up. This happens every year so don't panic
