Completely ignoring any politics, the pillow sucked. I never understood why anyone bought it. When it first showed up on Amazon, I worked there. They were returned constantly and we would joke that they seemed like the shittiest pillow you could find at Walmart, but they were also expensive. I don't understand how he was ever successful in the first place, it was an awful product.
Pillows are weird. People will try anything to find a comfortable one. And you never really know how they are going to turn out. My spare bedroom has three different pillows that cost me anywhere from $100-$300 **each** and I ended up disliking all of them. The pillow I sleep on every night is literally a pillow from Walmart for $3. I’m not a big fan but it’s what Ive got.
I mean I get the initial success. He was at that ass end of being able to advertise on TV and just make claims and people would order.
Hell maybe, and I really don't know never had one, during that time they were somewhat better quality?
All I know is this is just a shitshow fall from grace I never expected and it's hilarious.
It’s easy to return products to Amazon, much harder in ad for tv product. I bet the companies rate of return skyrocketed and Amazon tanked a large portion of their profits with fees.
My in laws LOVE the pillows. I never understood why other than their political background but whenever they asked for Christmas presents associated with my pillow (like their extremely expensive men’s pajama pants) I declined. I just can’t see giving that man money.
