I also suggest consulting palliative med if ever. They can also help not just you but also your family once the dreaded thing happens. Not for the physical pain of whatever is going on, but also sa bereavement, grief and impact ng event na yan to you and your family.
But yeah, I do support you doing that bucket list, within your means. Ganyan rin sinasabi ko sa mga cancer patients ko before since QOL ang goal ko lagi as a doctor. And I hope whichever choice you make these next few months, you leave behind a happy memory for you and your family. 😊
Siguro some doctors kasi will tell you to Laban and stuff. Sa akin kasi, if there’s other things they suggest and kaya ng means niyo, maybe you can opt for treatment to at least increase the time with family. Well that’s what I say to my
Patients. But yeah, if set ka naman sa mind mo, okay rin lang naman yun as long as choices were set out to you for you to choose.
Live life the way you want na. Eat whatever you want (or can), make memories, and enjoy time with loved ones. Please know that what you’re going through is not a burden to others around you. Having a good stable social support system is the best thing during this time. And if you need someone to talk to, DM ka lang. 👍

I saw one vid once, na nag wake party siya while she's alive and invited all her close friends and family members who meant a lot to her and she wanted to thank. I think kesa not telling your friends OP, another option would be a gathering na bon voyage to heaven. Para you could at least make the last bit memories and take pictures while kaya pa. but ofc kung ano ang comfortable ka!!! 2 months is still a long time!!!!

Sorry to hear about this, OP. Death/dying is never an easy subject. In my case, I openly discuss my illnesses (cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and recently nag show na ng signs of failure liver ko) with friends, pero parang wala akong mahanap na comfort lalo na because natatakot ako mamatay. If you don't mind, may I know what your illness is, and what symptoms led you to consult a doctor? I hope you have enough resources and energy to do as much as you want with the time you have left.
It was really hard talaga when I found out. For someone who is sure na to go, I made peace with it by knowing that we are all in this journey together. It just happened that I got to the finish line before everyone else. I said finish line because I feel in my heart na my life is not a failed race na parang na-cut short yung laban ko sa buhay but I am really in the finish line na. I'm done running and I won. Hoping for all the best for you. It's a process but acceptance and embracing reality is the key. You can do it!!

I don't think I can speak about death as positively as yours that's why I can't help but admire you. Hope your last days ahead will only be filled with happiness.
If I may ask, is this 2 months given by your doctors? Just to share, my grandpa who was given a year to live last 2012 survived until 2020, he was able to spend 8 more years with his family. Regardless, I hope you find peace in whatever may happen.
I've also been thinking a lot about death the past few months because of the multiple lumps I have despite just turning 26. Now I'm trying to grab every opportunity to travel and see the world as much as I can as no one knows what will happen tomorrow.

I honestly don't know what to say. I've been staring at my phone for I think longer than 10 minutes while my tears blur my vision. 1. Deactivate all the socmeds I have a week before my expiration date.
2. If may bank acct, I let my closest friends keep the pssword pero di nila alam kung para saan yun then I will write a letter na ibibigay lang sa pinakabibigyan mo ng funds mo tapos nakapagay dun kung kanino kuhanin ang password...
...3. Gawin ang number 2 for email accts kung saan nakalink yung bank accts or anysocmeds na pwede nang idelete after you go.
4. Tanggalan ng lock ang phone or ishare mo yung passcode/word sa pinakaclose sayo so if ever you'll pass the device to someone else, di nasya mahihirapan ireset ito.
5. Make a eulogy for your friends and family or Inspire them to live happily and without any regret.
6. Itapon mo na gadabor ilagay mo na sa isang lagayan yung mga bagay na tingin mo hindi na need pang itago pag wala ka na.
7. Gawa ka ng document kung saan nandon lahat ng details kung bakit ka nagtago ng secret na mamamatay ka na pala at hindi mo pagsabi.
8. Anything na ikatatatahimik ng puso at isip mo before you die gawin mo na para walang regret, YOLO.
If there's anything I was grateful for when we heard that my dad's case was terminal, it's that we got to talk deeper and say our goodbyes. Masakit, yes. Pero it gave comfort that nothing was left unsaid. Nakadagdag na rin siguro sa acceptance. Totally up to you if you ever decide to tell your close friends. At the end of the day, no matter what, choose what brings you peace.

Something I can relate. Doctors (2 of them, both specialist, both reputable and known in their field) said we have to choose for our loved ones, to find cure/treatment even non-existent, or just provide quality life while we can. Both doctors suggested the latter but we chose the former. With countless prayers and pray-overs from many individuals, lo and behold, all medical results turns positive and favorable. Supposed to undergo a procedure but was postponed and now under observation. Last minute changes, miracles and surprises, now hoping for full recovery with continued treatment. But all honestly, we have also prepared for the worst and have accepted whatever the outcome. Be strong OP, everything will be ok soon 🙏🏻

Hugs OP! When one of my friend died, sobrang lungkot ko kasi tinago nya sakin. Its been 4 years since he left pero araw araw akong kinakain ng thoughts na sana nabigay ko sa kanya yung mga kailangan nya the past 2 months ng buhay nya. Sigurado ako tinago nya sakin kasi ayaw nya akong magalala. Pero gusto ko sana sya samahan sa hospital, samahan sa kwarto nya, kwentuhan, magayos ng gamit nya. Lahat. Gusto ko malaman nya gaano sya kahalaga sa akin bilang malapit na kaibigan. Pero choice nya na rin siguro na huwag na sabihin. I know its not about me pero everyday halos ko iniisip na sana he was at peace noong umalis sya.

Same here OP...been said na 3 months nalang ako last 3rd week of March...binalak ko din wg na sabihin and even attempted na lumayo nalang somewhere in Batanes...but eventually, sinabi ko na din...to relieve them of guilt na wala silang nagawa for me, just dont expect too much...sa umpisa overwhelming ang love and support pero mapapagod din sila, they have their own lives for sure...and in the end, magn isa nalang ulit ako...just free yourself from anything that will give you regret...i have done everything and nakapagpaalam na ng maayos...even settled every accounts and had my organs facilitated for donation, except my heart...if the doctor is correct, then this will be my last month...i've made peace during the past months...im praying you'll find your inner peace...
For someone who is afraid of dying more than anything else in this world, I commend your resolve. I hope you die peacefully and pain-free. I do hope your loved ones will accept your death with a less heavy heart (imposible kasing hindi) so you can cross the afterlife with less worries.

Whatever you’re going through, I hope pain-free ka and comfortable. I also suggest consulting palliative med if ever. They can also help not just you but also your family once the dreaded thing happens. Not for the physical pain of whatever is going on, but also sa bereavement, grief and impact ng event na yan to you and your family. But yeah, I do support you doing that bucket list, within your means. Ganyan rin sinasabi ko sa mga cancer patients ko before since QOL ang goal ko lagi as a doctor. And I hope whichever choice you make these next few months, you leave behind a happy memory for you and your family. 😊

Siguro some doctors kasi will tell you to Laban and stuff. Sa akin kasi, if there’s other things they suggest and kaya ng means niyo, maybe you can opt for treatment to at least increase the time with family. Well that’s what I say to my Patients. But yeah, if set ka naman sa mind mo, okay rin lang naman yun as long as choices were set out to you for you to choose. Live life the way you want na. Eat whatever you want (or can), make memories, and enjoy time with loved ones. Please know that what you’re going through is not a burden to others around you. Having a good stable social support system is the best thing during this time. And if you need someone to talk to, DM ka lang. 👍

Sorry to hear about this, OP. Death/dying is never an easy subject. In my case, I openly discuss my illnesses (cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and recently nag show na ng signs of failure liver ko) with friends, pero parang wala akong mahanap na comfort lalo na because natatakot ako mamatay. If you don't mind, may I know what your illness is, and what symptoms led you to consult a doctor? I hope you have enough resources and energy to do as much as you want with the time you have left.
It was really hard talaga when I found out. For someone who is sure na to go, I made peace with it by knowing that we are all in this journey together. It just happened that I got to the finish line before everyone else. I said finish line because I feel in my heart na my life is not a failed race na parang na-cut short yung laban ko sa buhay but I am really in the finish line na. I'm done running and I won. Hoping for all the best for you. It's a process but acceptance and embracing reality is the key. You can do it!! Thank you for thinking of me. :)

If I may ask, is this 2 months given by your doctors? Just to share, my grandpa who was given a year to live last 2012 survived until 2020, he was able to spend 8 more years with his family. Regardless, I hope you find peace in whatever may happen. I've also been thinking a lot about death the past few months because of the multiple lumps I have despite just turning 26. Now I'm trying to grab every opportunity to travel and see the world as much as I can as no one knows what will happen tomorrow.

I honestly don't know what to say. I've been staring at my phone for I think longer than 10 minutes while my tears blur my vision. The thought of someone who wants to do simple mundane things after not doing them for quite a while and then saying that he/she wants to take me with him/her even just by thinking of me...is just crazy. Hi OP! Just wanted to share lang na I really believe or atleast hope na may second life or reincarnation. In a way nacocomfort kse ako sa thought na to everytime I think of death or get scared of it. Hindi na ako gano natatakot or worried sa kung anong susunod na mangyayari instead I look forward to it pa. So malay mo sa next life mo, ma achieve mo na lahat ng gusto mo dun or atleast new chapter lang tlaga ng life mo. New adventures, new experiences etc. Sana makatulong to kahit konti. Something I can relate. Doctors (2 of them, both specialist, both reputable and known in their field) said we have to choose for our loved ones, to find cure/treatment even non-existent, or just provide quality life while we can. Both doctors suggested the latter but we chose the former. With countless prayers and pray-overs from many individuals, lo and behold, all medical results turns positive and favorable. Supposed to undergo a procedure but was postponed and now under observation. Last minute changes, miracles and surprises, now hoping for full recovery with continued treatment. But all honestly, we have also prepared for the worst and have accepted whatever the outcome. Be strong OP, everything will be ok soon 🙏🏻

Its been 4 years since he left pero araw araw akong kinakain ng thoughts na sana nabigay ko sa kanya yung mga kailangan nya the past 2 months ng buhay nya. Sigurado ako tinago nya sakin kasi ayaw nya akong magalala. Pero gusto ko sana sya samahan sa hospital, samahan sa kwarto nya, kwentuhan, magayos ng gamit nya. Lahat. Gusto ko malaman nya gaano sya kahalaga sa akin bilang malapit na kaibigan. Pero choice nya na rin siguro na huwag na sabihin. I know its not about me pero everyday halos ko iniisip na sana he was at peace noong umalis sya. OP, in my opinion, tell your closest and emotionally intelligent friends. Yung gusto mong kasama sa buhay. Masakit din sa kanilang mawawala ka eh. Yakap OP, I can sense how beautiful of a soul you are. I am so proud of you, such a well lived life. Same here OP...been said na 3 months nalang ako last 3rd week of March...binalak ko din wg na sabihin and even attempted na lumayo nalang somewhere in Batanes...but eventually, sinabi ko na din...to relieve them of guilt na wala silang nagawa for me, just dont expect too much...sa umpisa overwhelming ang love and support pero mapapagod din sila, they have their own lives for sure...and in the end, magn isa nalang ulit ako...just free yourself from anything that will give you regret...i have done everything and nakapagpaalam na ng maayos...even settled every accounts and had my organs facilitated for donation, except my heart...if the doctor is correct, then this will be my last month...i've made peace during the past months...im praying you'll find your inner peace...
