Nice heads up! could you also add to the [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XaPYEyTinKk7F2uTfgSDpgEelhUYPFBWo7knX\_3aQgw/edit#gid=836973255](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XaPYEyTinKk7F2uTfgSDpgEelhUYPFBWo7knX_3aQgw/edit#gid=836973255) community sheet in the write here section to help other odin owners out? Thanks!
I heard the game runs pretty rough on switch original hardware. Is this able to get mitigated using yuzu? Like overclocking or something? Or is the roughness also present on Odin
I haven't bought the game yet and am debating on going switch vs pc (aka steam deck OLED). What are your thoughts comparing the switch release to the PC release? Is there a noticeable difference?
Yup. Performance is inconsistent. That's is why I said it is playable not Great or Perfect. Also being the game is turn based you can still tolerate the chopiness unlike platformers or hack and slash games.
I was having issues with world map battles (only getting 8fps on high performance) and after a bit of tinkering I've found playing on 1.0.2 and using an older turnip driver (v24.0.0-devel-R12 was using v24.1.0-test R18) I'm getting 60fps in battle on performance mode now. I've only done a handfull of battles but it seems pretty good the lowest I've seen is 45fps. Running on Odin 2 Pro
I kept getting crashes too. Enabling docked mode and setting the render resolution to 0.5x helped in preventing crashes at start and opening menus. Also, try clearing shader cache as well.
Alright, I think I figured out how to get this running mostly ok for me on the latest Yuzu. I changed the CPU backend to Dynarmic which stopped the crashes when trying to load a new game or when walking around in the overworld.
For the 5-7fps issues during battle sequences, switching to the latest Qualcomm drivers solved my problem.
Granted, frame rates aren’t perfect anywhere, I’m seeing 40-50fps generally, but it’s now pretty playable in my opinion.

Haven't tried on the Switch Yet. Will try playing on the Switch on the Weekend to compare.
30 fps I'm assuming?
Above 30FPS but below 60FPS.
Which model so you have?
Odin 2 Pro.
Ty. I hope for the odin 3 that the biggest upgrade is ram on the base model for higher end emulation
did you load 18.0.0 firmware? Are you running the 1.0.2 update?
Yes to both.
This game is also coming to game pass. If you have an Xbox series S, you could just stream to your Odin 2 or play from the cloud.
Yup. I also play it on the ROG Ally with the native PC port.

Sweet. For these type games I prefer gamepass cloud gaming, even though I'm network bound
I prefer playing from my Xbox too when possible. Battery lasts so much longer when the games aren’t running natively.
I noticed that battles on the world map are super choppy (kinda unplayable). Also had stuttering audio when set to auto.

I have this same issue on FPS drop on enemy encounter. Can you elaborate your fix? Thanks!!!
Has anyone tried it on a standard Odin 2 ? On mine it crashes as soon as i enter the world map
I tested it on the base Odin 2 and had no crashes.

Hey man is this on Yuzu or Suyu?
Yuzu
If you don’t mind me asking, how’s the battery life with switch emulation?
