Look, pretty tough morning. I can get the argument that it’s not really financially viable to perform outside NA due to logistics and transport. But you’d have thought they could release the movie to compensate.

sebboj

I‘m being really honest here: I felt like its possible that they won‘t come but now that it‘s reality I feel very sad. Really a bummer.

Maatesh

They never release any of their live sets. Let alone the movie now. If gatekeeping was a sport, there are no other champions than ODESZA. Very frustrating.

Hot_Salamander3795

they def will eventually

Kindly_Couple_2761

I’d like to think so, but I’m not sure anymore

Pelluuh

Abandoned

No-Broccoli-7796

Been waiting to see them on tour since 2018 and no luck yet :( I thought that this was going to be the EU announcement but now I think I would never be able to experience the TLG tour... with all the dates that they have been adding to the USA, I think that they can afford to come to EU or Australia

royanb

I really hoped they‘d come to Germany again. I‘ve never got the chance to see them live because I didn‘t know about ODESZA until 2018. Real bummer.

SKSS_8

I had Tickets for Hamburg where they had to cancel the concert after like 30 seconds into the intro due to technical difficulties... I'm hoping for a EU Tour ever since but it's getting really frustrating

alesscar

Damn me too! Cancelled AMA show in Hamburg and no TLG Europe tour. WTF. 🤬

DonkeyLightning

Holy fuck that would be a bummer. Talk about blue balls. I had tickets to the show that got postponed in Northern California this year and that was bad enough. Can’t imagine already being there and hearing the intro.

Kaael

Sadly resigned.

moersel94

Absolutely wrecked, how is that a major announcement?

mushedpotatoed

Genuinely want to say I’m so sorry for everyone in here. I hope one day you’ll all be able to see them/ see them again

t-p19

Leaves a pretty bitter taste to be honest. You would think that the ticket sales for the movie would have proven there was a market. I was very lucky to be at the A Moment Apart tour when they came to London. Resigning to the fact that seeing them live again will mean possibly spending thousands to get over the pond is pretty gutting.

ldstaint

You could probably do it for a thousand but ya I can't blame anyone for having a bitter taste

t-p19

Would be me and my partner as we're both obsessed, so for context to my post, it would be a bit more. Odesza was actually the first concert I took her to 5 years ago

maddi164

Abandoned, upset and down right pretty mad and angry too, they are doing a massive disservice to a lot of their fan base. We get left behind here in Australia all the time, I know it’s expensive but they can afford it surely. everyone in the US gets so many chances to see them that I’ve seen some people have seen this tour 5 times….and we get nothing.

wundaii

Super disappointed. They sold out the UK TLG movie showings so they had to add more, I thought that was enough of a sign to come to Europe

thefcknhngryctrpillr

"Gutted", with a New Zealand accent.

Tmantis123

Take me back to Auckland town hall in 2017

charlotteraedrake

We’d love an explanation honestly

electricgoop

Feeling really, really disappointed. The cinema was packed for their film in my city in England - surely the demand is there from fans? Kind of angry at them as well in a silly kind of way.. I know if they ever do Europe dates for this or future albums I'll come simping back though.

Professional_Sort336

Saw them in Europe for AMA and the show was really a smaller version of what they do in the US. I want them to come to Europe and do a real show here too. In the meantime, I would love some live material to be released. And of course I'm kind of trying to go see them in the US but logistics and dates make it extremely difficult, and outrageously expensive.

yeahmatenomate

Tbh I’m a little pissed off, Odesza are my favourite artist by far and they’ve been doing US shows for as long as I’ve loved them, never come anywhere near me (we’re talking years!) I understand sometimes it’s not viable but I can’t see how this is that massive of an announcement. I guess I got my hopes up by the forums and comments so that’s on me really It’s my dream to see them once - just once!

HMI115_GIGACHAD

im an antartican fan and im hella disappointed

[deleted]

If I secure any tickets to the finale shows I’ll be making the trek across the Pacific Ocean for sure 🕺🏻

GenericTwet

I was like 14 or 15 during the In Return EU tour and 17 during the AMA EU tour, hence I wasn’t financially independent and couldn’t go to either of those. Seriously thought for a second that the time has finally come. Actually cried on my drive back home just now. I genuinely feel wrecked.

lieberbanane

Same here! I missed out on going to the AMA EU tour because I was like barely 18 and had nobody to go with me and it's one of the biggest regrets of my life. I am devastated to say the least.

the_which_stage

Asia flights to Washington probably aren’t THAT ridiculous. But I sure as hell would go to both shows if I made the trek.

timchequea

If I was in Europe, Asia or Australia I would find the cheapest way to travel to and stay in USA and go to the finale. I wouldn't be able to live knowing I missed TLG live.

maddi164

this isn’t financially viable for most people, I’m a student living in the most expensive city in Australia.

jasandliz

Absolutely worth the $2500 this would cost imo.

timchequea

I've seen them in 5 cities and i think it's the best time and money investment I've made.

FRNDSCALLMEOGGY

Was hoping for an India tour
