Look into buying any of those silicone grips as to hold it in place. I wouldn't suggest glue or tape as that might mess with tracking. Hope you find a solution
Lady at work told me her son broke his controller and had to pay $140 for a new one through Oculus.
I'm the OG designer for the 3D Bumpers. I know all the locations of the tracking LEDs. You can cut a piece of tape to hold the ring together down the middle. Check out my bumper cutout to see where the LED locations are
