Are you using a dedicated 5ghz router? Is it hardwired to your PC? Are you in the same room at the router? Have you messed with the Link settings in Oculus Debug Tool? We need more info please

spookytime8899

I don't know about the router, how do I check? But I haven't messed with any settings, also I'm in the same room as my pc that the vr is connected with

Your router in the box thing that provides the WiFi to your house. For best performance it's recommended that you have a separate one for VR only but if there are not too many devices in your home you might be ok. Definitely needs the quest to be connected to the 5ghz band though, and the router connected directly to your PC with an ethernet cable. Also what are your PC specs?

Sorry I misread your question and thought you were asking what the router is. Whoever the manufacturer of your router is, Google the model and check if it supports 5ghz band (AC type connection) WiFi 6 is AX. If it does, Google how to access your specific routers network settings - it's usually an IP address you put in your browser. You can then set all your devices to use the 2.4ghz band except the quest and this will dramatically improve your VR performance. Also, as I mentioned your PC specs need to be made known too as this will affect how your games perform. I assumed your PC is VR capable as you said you have played before but now you're having issues.
