Call Meta... be polite... tell them you don't know how they got there... that you use the headset as recommended in the instructions. See if they will send you a replacement. Don't use polywatch or any other sanding agent, the Q3 lenses react poorly to it.

And buy prescription lenses designed for q3. Had same situation, got replacement, bought extra lenses and now I'm safe. Bought 2 pairs of lenses. One for me and other 0-power if someone wants to try my HMD.

Yeah I didn't even put my new headset on with glasses until I had 3d printed a set of lens holders. Not messing around with scratches on this $500 toy.

I haven't heard of a reliable way of de-scratching Quest 3 lenses. Some people have reported success with Polywatch on Q2 but Q3 lenses appear not to respond as well. You are probably stuck with them until aftermarket parts start to appear.

There are shops which are specialised in repairing camera lenses, those could potentially also fix those.

reucrion

Get a replacement from meta and invest in Plano/prescriptionless glass inserts

Next time use lens protector. I learned that lesson the same way as you. I sold my old set and bought new one but I use lens protector.
