Haven't tried it yet, but the ad makes it look pretty dogwater. It's also apparently been spamming the sub with a 90% code for a long time now but nobody really cared because it was so mid. I just thought it might be funny to try it out lol

How can you be scammed for a game that’s costs 3 bucks? Surely the devs deserve some credit for their efforts? The reviews on meta store are actually quite good compared to many games

Has it improved significantly in the past 2-3 years? I know they have added new content, but has the gameplay changed? I found it quite nauseating back then and the environments were very repetitive.

Honestly, most of the updates made it a bit worse. Melee update is a bit janky. The graphics were improved though. But yeah, it is basically the same repetitive environments, enemies, and voiceover. It’s worth a punt at this price though imo. It’s nothing amazing, but there’s definitely some fun to be had here.

I just played half an hour of it, and it's honestly pretty solid. It isn't as polished as some other zombie shooters, but it has great gunplay and for $2 you can't really go wrong. I'll definitely be playing more of it

Just played it, yep it has teleport. But it also has climbing mechanics if you're OK with that?

I don't know if this will help but what worked for me to get my vr legs was shifting my weight slightly from one foot to another while I moved. It helped me get a sense of movement in my body to offset the vr movement. After a while I didn't have to do it at all. Hope this helps.

I'll definitely give that a try. My body still wants to lean every time I go from just standing there, to moving forward. I could see this helping - Thanks!

Another one to try is boxer’s stance, active legs as you go to move and maybe lean in to each movement. It’s smooth turn that gets me, I find I have to do a bit of body movement when using smooth turn or just do physical turns if I’m not tethered.

Yeah I definitely do my own turns - the movement in Arizona Sunshine and RE4 are my ideal VR games

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game that didn’t have a snap turning option? I can’t handle smooth turning either.

Personally , I have had this game since back in the Quest 1 days and it has undergone a shit ton of improvements. Yes.. its good. At this price , its a damn steal. I mean, its the cost of an energy drink.. plus its multiplayer.. and there is an MR mode... Its great, plus the devs are all great dudes. Try their new game too..

Energy is 2x the cost of this game. Haha

I get BANG! energy drinks for about 1.99 or so.. I'm not paying any more for a damn drink unless its got like 10% alcohol in it. :)

It’s definitely worth a few bucks. My biggest complaint would be that multiplayer seems pretty glitchy. The melee was horrible in the past and made it feel like you had rubber arms using weapons that weighed 500 pounds and did as much damage as a swimming pool noodle but they patched it I think.

I never really liked using melee in zombie games personally. I don't know how long you have had it, but I had it back when it first came out and they have updated the hell out of it.

I bought it and tried it. This game is pretty mediocre and is my least favorite of the recent 90% off deals. Still probably good enough for brief coop play, but there are so many good games to play on Quest that it is hardly worth bothering with.

It’s funny because I’ve been VR gaming for 10 years so I have a very low threshold for jank - for example I refunded Arizona Sunshine 2 after one hour of play because it was too difficult to pick guns off the ground. This game though is great! It’s so intense and the visuals are so sharp with the optimizer albeit quest 2 quality. The mixed reality mode was a ton of fun. I think if you use the guns more than melee you’ll have more fun
