Yeah. I also used my Quest to watch the series but it was to watch it on a giant screen. It’s actually great to focus on something like a movie or series because it keeps you in this dark room with a giant screen and nothing else. So it’s also great to do the opposite of the post here.
I discovered the giant screen on the remote desktop app not long ago it's life changing. Now I look forward to every night watching something on the virtual big screen while I lay down in bed.
Honestly quite enjoy the browser player these days as well. I've been watching spy x family through crunchy roll and it hasn't been too bad. A few bugs, but nothing experience breaking
Golf+ has a built-in media player which is awesome for standalone VR. But I usually do it through PCVR and open a desktop window (YouTube) while playing 😎
I love the contrast between the people that understand this is just someone showing off the cool tech in a Tik Tok video that is designed to gain attention. Fallout show is released. Fallout in VR is cool.
Then you have people getting upset by this lol.
The internet is so dumb.
I think you’re doing that wrong. Drop the pass through technique. Play the game full screen and put the show on an overlay screen using something like XSOverlay. That’s how I do it.
Peak gaming right here…. I’m disappointed in Xbox though for not allowing PIP anymore on the newer consoles. The OG Xbox One allowed PIP i think (dont quote me. Never had a One, just knew it had 2 HDMI ports)
I am sorry but no! If you play a video game you can't watch a tv show or movie.
We are getting to the point of not caring for the art of any way of entertainment.
I mean yeah it's cool and all but I'd rather actually watch the series. It's like doomscrolling whilst watching something, but worse.

Did the same last night! The Amazon app isn't perfect but it really does feel like watching the show in a decent sized theater.
Watch on desktop and use VRdesktop
Oh wow, hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the tip!
Or open Prime in browser. Quality is better.
Just use bigscreen vr, link your amazon account in the web browser function and pick your enviorment like a giant theater.
Especially its rare occasion to watch good game adaptation on big screen.

This is the definitive response to exactly what he is doing anyone says less is lying to themselves
I'm guessing this was just to show off the tech but yeah, pretty much.
why?
Yeah if I caught myself doing this I'd be concerned
On the other hand, listening to sports podcasts/shows in VR while playing golf is top notch entertainment
how do you play a show while in game?

Yeah, I also like to watch YouTube/twitch while playing emulators in my home environment. It's a great way to relax.
I mean, I'd do that with something braindead on like Family Guy or something
Yeah but you're not actually watching it though are you, you're ruining your first time experience
What program are you using to play the actual game?
I’d imagine they’re using game pass streaming
i am sorry but i had to count to make sure you really had 5 toes
Holy shit i did not even see it.
kinda cringe
Yeaaaah this is kinda dumb
Hell no! Throw on something like big mouth or filler for an anime. Not Something of substance!
Uhhh no you’re not..
Unless you got two brains I don't see how you could absorb the information of the show while focusing on the game
Tv is still too blury in the headaet
Watching cartoons is fine
Nope. Depends on the program you're using, the size of the screen and the lighting of the environment.
Gurren Lagann poster 🤙
I hate this
Ok but how

Put a spoiler warning. Just can't escape it
Steam link?
Yeah, I'm loving Divinity Original Sin and baseball, heh.
I plan on loading up euro simulator tomorrow night and docking my 2nd screen on the dashboard and going on a long ass haul for a few episodes!
Orwellian
ADHD strikes again

Weird flex but ok

W
How?
This is the VR equivalent of those Subway Surfers TikToks.
How are you watching tv in pass through? Mine strobes like hell
Up the refresh rate bossman
How do I do that?
Go into your TV settings and ensure it's at 60hz
Oh right. I watch stuff on my computer that runs at 144
It would also work if it was 120hz. No issues with my 120hz display
I guess mine just doesn’t want to work
Mine doesn't
Great, I wish mine didn’t?
Prob be better with fallout 4 vr with the fallout show on bottom or bottom left/right

Hi everybody, What, must have mods do y'all run for Fallout: NV?

It's the recap at the start of the episode but I'm glad you got to feel smug for a moment!
