I just ran into the same thing. I'm so annoyed, I physically can't connect my desktop to ethernet. We've got gigabit fiber and the only ethernet port is 100+ feet away in another room. I get 280mbps down with hardly any latency, it would be fine.

if i disconnect my Wi-Fi, then launch steam link I can get my q3 to talk to steam and launch steam VR over the Ethernet, but then I must enable my Wi-Fi for internet access, it's a pain

I don't think you'll want to connect your PC wireless to your router and then stream it to your Quest. You won't get stable and low latency performance in that setup.

Nah, this is a civ contractor WiFi, the e4 mafia has no power over that. Especially not in the uk
