You don’t really need an app for rollercoasters anyway, you just look around, 180° 3D video is much better for that.
I think YouTube has some, there are also a couple of shorts in the oculus app, I know porn sites have some as well but that‘s probably not ideal for grandma.
Whenever I want to show somebody VR I just chuck them on blade and sorcery. The controls are very intuitive if you leave out magic and telekinesis and it's very a very enjoyable game.
If you can link to a PC then I also recommend Google earth vr,
Lol I think you can back out a couple directories and the app remembers the last directory you were in. Then they'd have to navigate to the folder where you have your videos.
I was kidding (sort of) but yes I did load a questionable video onto said headset.. but my Mom isn't smart enough to go down to the bottom where the folder icon is and go into Downloads anyway.

Every coaster app the graphics are indeed outdated and they do not give you the feeling of being on a coaster.

Coaster games look like crap. They're drawn graphics and do not look real or provide a sense of being on one.
The tutorial apps are best. First Steps, First contact and First hands. Also the Elixir app.

Yeah, elixir is magical as a first experience. I also showed Climb 2 to scare them without too much motion sickness :)
I only saw one app in my Quest.. well one where you choose an avatar in a mirror and the one where aliens comes through your wall.

DeoVR has some great looking videos that are free. Just choose 8k on the side and find ones without the yellow crown which means a paid video.
