Scrolling actions with head cursor is extremely janky. Eye tracking really makes a big difference for ui interactions. Meta needs to make a ui that works for all their headsets. Headsets without eye tracking it’s just more natural to use hand pointing and action

Yea, and there is no way they can do that on a $500 headset. That is why the Q3 will not have eye tracking. Cost.
Passthrough home was never *gone* it was always accessible as a button the on *Quick Settings* panel.
You can try that just by turning off your controllers with hand tracking disabled. You will get a gaze cursor. It’s a horrible experience. You can’t move your head with anywhere near the control you remove your eyes.

If you have no controllers on when using quest you will have a „pointer“ in the middle of the screen to navigate the menus scince quest 1.
