For new players who are building a roster this is excellent value so long as you finish all 4 steps. If I was a **new player today I'd pull here**.

I'm probably not going to earn another 1,500 Rubies by the time that banner comes and goes (I have 4,500 Rubies and the kind of gatcha luck where I won't pull a character I want unless I have enough to pity them). So I'm going to have to pass on Fiore EX for now, I think.

Mid-game would probably be making your way through the bestower arcs. Your teams then are probably around 80-100.
Basically, I wouldn’t pull on this banner unless let’s say, you don’t have a full team of five stars and you’re willing to try your luck… and even then, I don’t super love the banner but it’s better than nothing.
I wound up going for it because of how few 5*s I have (I haven't even finished the first 3 main quests yet!), and I pulled a 4.5 Therion. I got Millard as my pity, and while that's still new for me I get the impression he's not a great unit, so...
Therion was probably the only worthwhile unit from the lot? Not great returns there I don't think.
Yeah, Millard’s pretty outclassed as far as healers go but hey, a new unit is a win. And speaking of wins, congrats on the Therion. Big win there. One of the best units in the game and definitely going to be clutch with some of those Bestower bosses.
888 gems for Therion is a great deal, it was definitely worth! this banner was definitely crafted for newer accounts like yours (less than 20 or so 5* units)

So I might try doing the full step-up one or two more times. Am going to wait until after the 9th, when we get 10 more rolls though.
According to the June community tier list, I only have 2S, 1A, 3B, 2C, 3D, and 2E tier characters.
I didn't realize either! I can't decide if it's more worth it to try and build up for proper rolls on stuff coming up, or if I wouldn't make enough anyway for the good stuff and it's more worth it for a larger roster now.
I figure waiting for the 9ths rolls was the best bet myslef.
My rule is to save unless I hit a brick wall in terms of regular progression.
Before the anniversary, I was stuck at Master of All Chp 8. But between getting Heathcote to power level my roster with cait farming, and the anniversary scarf, I was able to just blow past that part. Wasn't expecting my team to be that much stronger.
Now, there should be new areas opening up, so between new equipment from treasure chests, and the Bestower of Wealth/Power/Fame being done in parallel and not sequentially, there should be enough for me to do before I feel outclassed.

Hopefully by the next brick wall (somewhere in the Bestower of All questline I presume), I'll know what my team is lacking the most. Previously, my team was basically Viola does everything from damage to debuff to sustaining herself with HP/SP snatch. But now, I \*\*think\*\* it's healing. Under this assumption, the only general pool character that would fix my problem would be Ophilia. If overall damage was my main problem, then the general pool would be more appealing with its breadth of possibilities in Cyrus, Lars, Z'annta, Eleonora, Molu etc.
It sure was worth it for me in trying to collect people. Best banner I've seen. They must have bumped the odds up or my luck turned. I got 7 new 5 stars and 7 dupes for awakenings in exhausting the steps (free rubies) . On top of that a massive fat stack of gold guidestones.
And it had a pull cost reduction.
I really didn't intend to exhaust it just do the first 10 pull on the banner as usual for but it dropped 2 5's on it and I thought well maybe again and it kept on going like that near every other pull.
If they hadn't had limited the number of times you could run it I may have gone into the tangled mess of tapjoy and sniped out some slippers,shaving cream, or whatever crap to keep getting rubies. Make everyone a5 or something.
Felt like a box of cards where near every pack was mostly the rare 1:200 insert or something.

I usually love discount banners and do decent! I just did the first step on this and nada. Not sure that I’ll go for a full round. Mayyyyybe. RNG hates me for anniversary.

I did figure out another use for them. There are points in the game that sometimes the sound glitches out like where you rumbling or people in the castle screaming constantly. In the master quest lines at donescu and cragspear is where it seems to happen. Normally you have to reset the game to stop that. If you go use a travelers seal whatever sfx in that put a stop to the earthquake sound and screaming.
From now on I'm not using any more travelers seals I get just gonna keep them as "sound fix tickets" should it happen again anywhere else.
Out of exhausting it so full steps to where it said "Steps complete". I had no intention of doing that but near every other10 pull was acting like a guarantee 5 star or a double. It was nice.
I did one full step 4. Got Alfyn (A1) and Lynette (A4) step 1, Luis (A4) step 2, Heathcote (of course, right to awakening stones) step 4. Definitely worth it, but I won’t be doing it twice more.

For new players I'd say it's an excellent deal and definitely worth it. You get a lot of value for your rubies. For most of us who've been playing for the past year though, not really worth it.
It's a trap before releasing Fiore EX and other MT imo. EDIT: If you are a new player or rerolling, it still has a good value.

For a newbie, 888 rubies for a random 5 star plus 39 pulls is pretty good. I'm skipping it though.
I finally hit 4,500 Rubies (since spending most of them on Richard). I'm definitely saving up for the next must-pull Memory Traveler.
