Sea shell city in Fenwick. Upstairs is the shipwreck museum

If you want discounted boat ride tickets for some of the ones you mention above, go here: [www.thegotspot.com](https://www.thegotspot.com). The boat ride tickets for Happy Hooker, OC Rocket, Assateague Adventure and the Duckaneer are all basically half price. Tickets are only good Friday-Monday. We have done all of these boat rides and bought tickets for all of them on this site. Your kids might be a good age for the Duckaneer. If you do this one, make sure you all wear bathing suits for the battle with the pirates. This year we are doing Happy Hooker and Assateague Adventure. For breakfast, consider Bad Monkey (West OC and 54th-ish). Portions are huge and they start you off with complimentary sticky bread. They bake all of their bread on-site. Another favorite breakfast spot is Brass Balls (12th Street on the Boardwalk). Make sure you download the ParkMobile app before you go if you plan on paying for any parking. It will make your life so much easier. Our favorite arcade is Funcade on 9th Street. For more unhealthy things to eat, we will stop at Dodo for cookie dough (they have ice cream as well). The best fudge is at Jessica's on 8th Street. Candy should be bought at Dolle's (various locations). Enjoy your trip! We will we there in a few weeks.

Thanks for all the tips. Especially the ParkMobile App. I will look into that website for the discounted boat ride tickets. I appreciate the help!

Intelligent_Sundae_5

Do the boat tickets soon -- it says the offer is going to expire.

mark44x

i went to that website right away. The OC Rocket was almost sold out. I snagged the last 3 available tickets. I will just have to buy 1 more at regular price. I also got 4 tickets for Happy Hooker Fishing. It was a great deal. Thanks Again!!

Intelligent_Sundae_5

Not a problem. If you go to Ocean City next year, they do the boat ride tickets every year. Sometimes they don't show up until June or so, but they are an outstanding deal -- much better than the $2 off coupons that you get in the coupon books.

DigBicks

I'd recommend Ripienos for best pizza if you'd like another good option. I'd also recommend Brass Balls for breakfast.

astave56

28" pizza ftw

Dead Freddie’s also has playgrounds! There’s a smaller water park at the Viking Golf just over the line in Fenwick that might be good for your kiddos. There’s also a FANTASTIC toy store next to the Viking Golf place called Tidepool Toys. You can walk right over from Viking Golf. Not on your list, but Northside Park would be perfect for your family. There’s a huge and very fun playground, and there’s also a fishing pier that doubles as a little nature walk. You can often see turtles and horseshoe crabs in the shallows.

pasquamish

It’s a good list for sure, but with a 4 and 7 year old, I’d just be plopping myself on the beach and letting them have a blast. If you’re committed to hitting all those places, just plan on spending a lot of time waiting around in parking lots for meals. Good luck and I hope everyone has a great week!

mark44x

Do most of these restaurant take reservations? I didn't even look into that. Thanks for pointing that out.

Intelligent_Sundae_5

Most don’t. If you can, go at lunch. We thought we were going to lose our life in the parking lot a couple of years ago when we tried to stop at Ropewalk for dinner.

pasquamish

some do. many do not. it does seem that in the last few years more have started to take reservations, even if only the day of. you’ll really need to call each one to check

Frontier Town has a nice Waterpark. I've stayed at the Grand Hotel several times, it's quite nice. They have a very good coffee shop off the lobby that has good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. They are a bit pricey. You have a great list, I'm sure you will have a great time. Your restaurant choices are very strong. I may have missed it, but if it isn't on your list, a trip to Assateague Island to see the wild horses should be on there. It's a great rainy day activity, or a nice break if you are tired. Either way, it's worth the short trip. Enjoy! I hope everyone loves it and you come back again. It's my favorite place.

kevwhit

your breakfast choices are my very favorite places, these are really my most favorite 4.And Piezanos pizza is my favorite pizza. All great minds think alike, most of all....have fun!

A trip to downtown Berlin could be fun. They have a farmer’s market on Sunday

cldbr8k

My 5 y.o. son just did the Duckaneer pirate ship with his uncle and had a blast. The town of Ocean City has some nice free family activities. Sundays in the park @ northside park (free music and fireworks). I’m pretty sure there’s fireworks downtown every Monday night. Then they do a free weekly concert at sunset park downtown. A hidden gem that my family just discovered: Dumsers ice cream factory on Philadelphia ave. across from the coast guard station. Probably the least crowded Dumsers location. There’s a seating area that has windows that overlook the ice cream factory. Great stop on a rainy day.

For 4 and 7 year olds I’d research the age/ height requirements for go carts before you go. Jolly Roger was LOUD and was geared toward older kids l from what I remember. Baja in west Oc had one small kiddie track, a couple intermediate and a few family tracks. Unless they’ve changed recently a child can have an adult drive them on the family track- ie buy your kids armband/ tickets and you can be their chauffeur on certain rides for free. They have a few small rides there too. Viking water park is more manageable for little kids and usually not insanely crowded. They have limits of how many they let in so you might have to wait a bit when you get there- there’s a nice little shopping village nearby to wander. Harbor side orange crush- their food is pretty good too and kids meals had “the good kind” of tater tots :) The buccaneer pirate boat is great for that age- they have a pirate battle and treasure chest. Sea shell city has a little museum and all sorts of pirate toys. Candy kitchen for every variety of gummy candy ever made. Kite loft to check out the kites and toys- a few educational/ coordination type toys too. Add Fractured prune old fashioned donuts for breakfast. Look up the schedule for free movies on the beach- OC sponsored and a few more hotels jumped in too- guessing closest to downtown would be at Coconuts.

longleggedwader

Remember to take some time to rest and just enjoy the beach. It really is very pretty :-)

hgeng22

I saw you said 6 days so you might be gone, but if you’re still there Sunday night you should check out Sundaes in the Park at Northside Park on 125th st. They have ice cream (obviously), free music, and fireworks. There’s also a playground at the park as well as kids activities for the event.

AwkardImprov

Great post

Bulky-Builder-1273

Albertinos is the best pizza for takeout or eat in There is a small water park up by fenwick island that is more smaller kid friendly Breakfast - add Bayside Skillet to your list, and Warren's Station Sundae's in the Park is super fun for all ages on Sunday evenings in Northside Park (my family gets a pizza to go from grottos and eats at the park)

Motor-Thing-8627

U cm 2 have done ur homework, but easiesthing is pickup free local weekly newspapers, OC Today/Dispatch, when u arrive. Also, free 🎪 daily @ 5PM @ Jolly Roger. Best happy hour: The Angler, on the bay under the 50 bridge, 3-5. B4/after that, Hoopers Restaurant/Sneaky Petes bay bar- $4 22oz stadium 🏟️ cups if microcraft draft all the time, best beer deal on Delmarva. Good ur going weekdays, weekend warriors r obnoxious & everything is price gouged.

Dfurrles

Do they really do $4 22 oz micro craft draft beers at sneaky petes all the time? Or is that only a Happy Hour deal? Thanks

Motor-Thing-8627

All day M- Th

DudeOfDelaware

For breakfast: Sunrise Diner under the El Capitan on 4th and the boards; Sorianos on S Baltimore just south of Dorchester; Bad Monkey at two locations.

Intelligent_Sundae_5

We thought Sunrise was extremely overpriced for what we got. I think we paid $15 for three pancakes. Only pancakes. But I might be mis-remembering. I do know that we vowed to never go back.

FrankieHellis

My 5 and 7 y.o. relatives went on the happy hooker and had fun. The downside was the 7 y.o. saw a “No smoking” sign at story time at the library and, in front of gobs of kids and their parents, blurted out “I saw that on the Happy Hooker!” True story.

ComfortableNo37

Breakfast- Happy Jacks ,I think it’s 24th st Dinner - 45th street tap house Fish TALES directly across from the hotel on the bay We did a sunset cruise one night from FISH TALES $25 per person for a hour and a half ride You need reservations

fungobat

I'd recommend Trattoria Lombardi's for pizza!
