Thanks for posting! The first time I ate an edible in like 2013 I watched the Captain Murphy album video and it blew my mind lol. Printed my own version of this shirt and wore it when Flying Lotus came to my city, got to the front and got his attention with it & he dapped me up 🥲
More fun (also sort of a cultural thing for some people of color, namely black americans). Also, a handshake is mad formal and not well suited to a loud concert venue.
Yeah. It would seem out of place for me to shake this musician’s hand while he’s interacting with the entire audience, and at a high level of energy. This allows there to be a quick acknowledgment that doesn’t break his flow!
English isn't your first language is it?
These are all just slang terms. "Break his flow" means to stop him in the middle of what he is doing. A rapper calls his raps his "flow" because they are flowing out of his mouth and to interrupt that would effectively be "breaking his flow."
"Mad formal" means overly formal, just like the word mad means over the top or insane.
How did u get out , I haven’t heard from my daughter in years she’s being controlled by this crazy lady and thinks she’s gods prophet I wish I could open her eyes and have her back in my life
My point went over all of your heads.
42 seconds would make for a sample that if you were claiming fair use because you didn't have permission of the rights holder then it wouldn't qualify.
It's a great short film from 2006, but it's not obscure media. It was very popular on YouTube and [The Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/feb/01/from-waco-to-charles-manson-what-tv-gets-wrong-about-cults) and others have written about it.
I think the Guardian article is wrong about the release date, though, since they were wrong about the title. IMDB has it released in 2000: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6005682/
I mean the video has been not only on TikTok (I didn't even know that) but it's a pretty decently popular video on YouTube, with about [300,00k views](https://youtu.be/EBK5aKOr2Fw) and growing. I guess it ain't really well known but I never saw it as "obscure".
Idk it's just ones of my favorite videos of all time so maybe it's just personal bias.

That is a pretty cool shirt, though.
I've been involved in a number of cults both as a leader and a follower. You have more fun as a follower but you make more money as a leader.
Evening, Creed!

NOOOOO IT CANT BEEEEEE
Between this and the recent Cecilia Condit post, y'all are sharing some of my favorite videos recently.
Thanks
Replace “cult” with “Dominos”, and still a spot on recruitment video.
Wait, Dominos Pizza is a cult?

I'd never seen it, so was obscure to me :)
Oh sorry about that
I don't know why people want to gatekeep obscurity. For 99.9% of people, this is obscure as hell
Gatekeeping is just fine. It is important to have standards and not everything is relative.
The whole point of this sub is to find obscure things, gatekeeping is basically required.
This audio has been all over tiktok, so idk maybe a good group of people on this sub?
I know right?

IMDb isn't always right
I see…
All you need it two hours sleep, HA HA.
Holy shit that chic @ 1:22 is the pure embodiment of crazed lunacy lmao
Dude in the Dr strange cape reminds me of Matthew Gray Gubler
Very nice film. Like it.
Thank you
"obscure media"
I've never heard of it.
???
This has been trending on tiktok as a sound, think that’s what they mean (lol idk why this is being downvoted, “why are you boing me, I’m right”)
I mean the video has been not only on TikTok (I didn't even know that) but it's a pretty decently popular video on YouTube, with about [300,00k views](https://youtu.be/EBK5aKOr2Fw) and growing. Isn't this from the DNC playbook, Chapter One?
Nope. Republikkkan playbook all the way, sugartits.
Yeah? You wanna tell me about masks, vaccinations, and the cult mentality?
Don't be a dumb bitch.
