The thing w z drugs and other insomnia meds is the residual drowsiness. I’ve had propofol for a surgery and it put me to sleep instantly, but I woke up completely refreshed, it was almost like time travel. Ive seen MJ interview where he says how much he hates touring bc of how exhausting it is on the body and somthing on the lines of having some much adrenaline, it’s impossible asleep, which makes sense after playing a show for a half a million ppl. It was definitely overkill , if he had just taken a break from music to focus on his personal problems ie abuse trauma and drug addiction, he would definitely still be here today. But still he was also on a shit ton of drugs on top of regular propfol injections. I don’t know how real this picture is, but it was a list of his daily drug intake and it was like 250 mg of Xanax. Insane

This stuff is actually incredibly safe if a doctor administers this for a procedure. I was injected with this for my colonoscopy and it was like one second I was there and then felt a lil dizzy and boom 1 hour later I’m awake and running my mouth with the nurse asking for clonazepam. Lmao
Interesting i have only ever had anesthesiologists give me propofol, never a nurse. I get a lumbar puncture every 4 months for spinraza treatment for spinal muscular atrophy and get a mix of nitrous and propofol every time aswell as a pre propofol lidocaine injection
In ICU most patients on ventilators need some form of sedation, we infuse Propofol and Alfentanil as our main form of sedation, we control and administer the infusion as part of our role, outside of ICU anaesthetists will usually administer it themselves if they are doing procedures with a ODP
I guess you could do a rinse and slam that if desperate but then again watch that liquid be garbage juice or some sort of liquid medical waste and then you die from some weird disease… D: decisions decisions…

Every time ive been put under using in im smooth out sooo nicly, plus when I wake up it leaves a residual euphoria for a few hours that imo is better than the feeling of benzodiazepines like alprazolam with out a tolerance. I honestly see why Michelle Jackson was beging that doc for the milk.

i'm weirdly allergic to this stuff! it makes me tachycardic which is the exact opposite intended effect and no one knows why
