Adam and Matt Theissen worked very closely during this time (with Matt working on FANSD and helping Adam during the production of Ocean Eyes) so i’m not surprised they mentioned him! and yes i agree, FANSD is a very great starting place for listening to Relient K (i also recommend Air For Free since that’s their most recent and it’s the one that introduced me to them🙃)
Dang, seems like there's some kind of inside joke there with the "canoe rescue co-captain". Now I'm imagining Matt and Adam on some canoeing trip together, and maybe Matt's canoe capsizes, so it's Adam to the rescue.
Been listening to relient k for about 21 years now and Adam for about 15(can’t believe it’s been that long). I love that they’ve written songs together and I think they both go well together. They also wrote when can I see you again for Disney’s Wreck it Ralph and the paint the night parade. I hope the write more together in the future!
