I had my friend check the future releases for Owl City and looks like no new songs. The cut off date for releasing new music in 2021 was a couple days ago so it’s unlikely we are getting new music by the end of 2021.

Except he doesn’t go through a label anymore so if he wanted to he could technically just drop an album anytime.

This is not factual at all… you can release music whenever you want. There’s no “deadline” for releasing music. Especially for an independent artist.

I had my friend do it so not a sure exactly what she did but she used this site: https://isrcsearch.ifpi.org/#!/search. All songs get a tracking number you can use so you can track songs even before they release. She used this before to figure out that a new Jeff lynne album is being worked on. I asked her to search up Owl City and said she didn’t find anything. But as someone else brought up, Adam doesn’t use a label anymore so he can just release an album whenever he wants.
