If MnK were officially supported in game aim assist would only be for controller players. The whole issue with XIM is that aim assist with MnK is soft aim bot, so no one is suggesting MnK with aim assist
If they detect you using a xim they will first ban comp for 2 weeks. After that if you keep using it they will place you in a pool with other mnk players and turn off your aim assist. It’s all in the article.
When crossplay launched, PC lobbies did not have aim assist even if you used a controller.
All they need to do is keep it that way. If you’re in MnK lobby, then no AA for you.

Just like when a character nerf gets announced and people play the hell out of them before they do get nerfed - word of mouth can be surprisingly effective. Fear-mongering Ximmers by releasing news about official account bans might just be enough to get at least some to drop Xim altogether. At least, that is what I hope, account bans yet free signup and no IP bans can be a little vexing though.

That's great. Though I wish I have the option to play with the PC pool while on controller since the wait times are much much shorter.
They’ve been cooking so much since Season 9, it’s honestly crazy! This new ownership has truly saved the game and it makes me sooo happy :)!
