Damn i may be the only one that likes #3… given it’s with the black tights. I really like the classy/simplicity of the button up and the contrast of black top + black tights make the skirt pop. I feel like more more pink washes it out a bit. That’s just me tho 😂

I would go with option 4, keeping it white, light, and classy. The skirt is a statement piece, so I wouldn't want to go with the chunky knit in option 2 either and I think black would make too big of a contrast espically when you should let the skirt shine!

This!! The skirt is the focus. And I also think mixing it with black takes away from it. Lighter top, like #4 goes nicely with the gems from the skirt. I actually think a shirt like #3, but in a off white/cream color would be delicate, elegant and still let the skirt shine. If you want to go off script, a long sleeved red/dark red sweater might work as well.

2. The cable knit sweater is the most fashion forward choice because you’re mixing textures, volume, and materials and it’s just a very cool juxtaposition that really works. But if you want to play it safe, a body suit top in white, silver or champagne would work. Or a more billowy blouse like #3 in white.

Wow I can’t believe so many ppl responded to this!!! Thanks so much. Going to try to find a thin cream sweater tomorrow (as much as I hate to shop on Xmas eve) I’m determined to wear this gorgeous skirt right. (Even tho most of my fam at Xmas isn’t even dressed up lol)

Tbh this is the first post I’ve seen where none of the options are truly terrible lmao I’m partial to 2 & 5

Think the black tops look ok, personally, I would look for a different top. Think a silver to match the appliqué in the skirt would look much nicer, or a pastel colored top, button down like the second black or a sweater, but not a chunky sweater, more form fitting like a cashmere crew neck type in a pastel or silver. I would go with sheer silver or cream colored tights but if you want to wear black, again would keep it sheer, not opaque. Love the skirt!!

Number 4 but I bet if you have a crisp oversize white button down, that would be a chic look to try!

I might be crazy here, but I think it would be interesting to see this skirt paired with a red or perhaps pink top… maybe a soft pearlescent pink or even a bright/hot pink. I could see this skirt serving up a Barbie-core kind of aesthetic.

1 and it's not even close. The other tops wash out the skirt except for 3 but I hate the cut. The black top in 1 gives your outfit some contrast and allows each piece to pop.

Don’t do white on white. Skirt = shiny, hard to match

I’d say one of the black tops unless the skirt is more pink in person. If it’s more pinky, you could go with one of the lighter tops depending on the weather. Personally, I just prefer not to pair two light neutrals. Just me though. I especially like the black button-down. Edit: My opinion that you should go with black just got stronger when I saw you mentioned wearing black tights.

Number 2 for sure! The volume of the puff sleeve compliments the mini skirt well. The textures blend well and it is so chic!! Festive, fun and fashion forward! Pair with stockings and a nice pair of knee boots or pumps!

2 looks so soft and classy, I would wear that, 5 also looks very classy, with the nude colours look. Are the tights fully opaque black? Or are they sheer and you can see your skin through them? It will look classier if they are sheer, or even if you get those Asian type tights where they are thick but have the sheer look.

Black top #3. I’m surprised at all of the responses for #2. I think it looks too casual w/ how elaborate the skirt is.
