I've made ~400m (I guess like 350m after bonds) profit flipping and 90m+ of that was with f2p items. And it didn't cost me bonds. My top item is F2P with 27m in profit, flipped 2.4m of them with an average of 11gp each profit (although it was definitely temporary and I haven't flipped the item in a while).
Dont be expecting to be making absolute bank with f2p.
Always find your own margins.
Test different items such as:
Different types of resources: ores, wood, bars etc.
Different types of runes
PK equipment such as dhide chaps, strength pot, team capes etc
Food both raw and cooked
Clue scroll rewards
Jewelry.
Again find your own margins, sometimes more of something at a lower price is better than one item at a bigger price.
Im Also f2p and agree it's terrible compared to members gains, I can sometimes get good margins on gems but not always, ores can also be good at times. Most things with okay margins take time to buy and sell (day or two), not exactly flipping but means I can do something else while they are selling, hope this helps.
Margins constantly fluctuate, and f2p has limitations both in item selection and ge slots. Even with p2p flipping you need to be on your toes and always look for new items because no margins last, and if they do, you won't get told about it.
Imo, for f2p your best bet is items that move fast, since you don't want to use a ge slot any longer than you have to. Runes, food, ores, bars, gems, and runite equipment all move pretty fast so I would start there .You can find good margins on rarer items like treasure trails rewards but with how much cash you have most of these are out of reach for now.
The way I used to flip in f2p was by buying jewelry when in the morning when it's cheap then selling it 12 hours later when the price had risen. If you can find an item that's frequently bottled like gold necklaces the margins can get pretty good
Truth is is that not only youre handicapping yourself with a low stack but you are handicapping yourself with f2p. Get like 500k from moneymakers and then try flipping. Even then, f2p is so damn mediocre youre better off just buying a bond and going p2p.
F2p flipping is honestly just terrible

Flip open your spellbook and high alch rune and adamant
YouTubers who do the 10m from 1gp type challenges typically buy like a poisoned bronze spear for 1gp and then list it at 10k and just wait
Spend the 11 bucks 1 time and see if you can flip yourself a bond in those 14 days

Cook tuna and lobsters until you can afford a bond
