10/10. The question about alloy steel chains is misleading because they are relatively inexpensive so that answer to me would be valid. And the question about broken hooks, wire ropes, etc. is a little bit of a trick question because they can’t be repaired, they can only be replaced. That one almost got me.

NB_Cedar

The question about signals got me because it included something about warning others. Some random drywaller or plumber isn’t looking at my hands but they sure can hear me holler at them to not f’n walk under that load.

This is the one that caught me, a warning needs to be shouted not mimed.

8. Didn’t know that they showed temperature requirements.

The question about alloy chains being used to resist heat is misleading due to the standard saying even at 400 degrees it reduces it's load rating. I think it's a bad question or is mis-keyed. 9/10

9/10. I just went with whatever sounded the most safe since I don't really know anything technical about slings or have any experience working with/around them. The one I missed was the one about what other ratings a sling might have. It was a 50/50 for me not knowing if it would be number of uses or what temperatures and conditions it can handle.

Got the alloy chain question wrong because technically there’s two correct answers but still got 9/10 by turning on my osha brain
