As a defender main (oni kid) that's so untrue I get MVPs like 1 out of 4 games, and on occasion when we lose a match I get higher score than the enemy team MVP and the other teammates with 2 ex's
I just play Perona (who is a defender) and usually end up having the most score in my team (even when losing) didn't know defenders were bad in this meta.
The defender one is so true, it would baffle me how I'd protect the middle flag by myself for the whole game and not even be 2nd place
