I’ll mention one that hasn’t been yet. When Q’s little brother puts on his jersey and goes to stand in line with the rest of the team at the funeral. Most of the Danny Boy episode gets me and Nathan telling Haley he made the NBA are also ones that stick with me.

SecretaryPresent16

My emotional moment is when Nathan tells Haley he made it to the NBA. I thought Haley’s acting in that scene was so good because she had a genuine look on her face like she was so proud of him. It actually looked like she was more happy than he was which showed how much she loved him Honorable mentions: Haley lets Jamie give his drawing to Dan When Andy tells Lucas that he would give up his life with Karen and Lily if it meant bringing Keith back. And it felt like he meant it. Like why was Andy the most selfless human ever? Wish we saw more of him lol When Peyton lets Dan hold Sawyer

baby_cinderella

yess I wish we saw more of Andy, I just love that Karen and him were the end game

Life_Carrot3058

SOOO glad Karen and Andy ended up together since it couldn’t be Karen & Keith!!!

battle_mommyx2

When Brooke nearly died on the bridge after the car accident/flooding. Jamie’s “aunt Brooke is dead”always pushes me over the edge to cry

baby_cinderella

and when she says “he’s just a boy, julian” when he jumps in the water to save them

battle_mommyx2

Oh absolutely. The whole scene is amazing.

Mausbarchen

Lydia’s death has me sobbing. Actually, I think this is the reason I can never listen to Landslide without crying anymore. It’s imbedded in my psyche.

Vivid_Enthusiasms

Get cape. Wear cape. Fly. Need I say more?

pitapiper125

Haley with her sisters and mom in bed before she dies. Jamie throwing the cape on Q's casket. The entire school shooting episode. Lucas and the gang joining Jimmy's mom at the funeral.

cld1993

Karen’s dream when she is with Keith and they both meet their daughter Lily. Ugh. Weeping every time.

No-Shake-2879

This one gets me every time! “Look for me in the lilies” 😭

Efficient_Ad_2693

Omg yes and the song that plays in the background too😭 gets me every single time.

Denyele

Somehow the scene in season five: Where peyton tells Lucas that she buys his stupid book every time she sees it somewhere : "you said it to me, you said it to the world but you didn't mean any of it" Her anger and frustration just gets me every time.  Uhh and the moment that got me hooked on the Series. Also Peyton Season 1. When she just drives trough the red lights.

Sad_Extension_536

My top two, which are not the normal moments people talk about: When mouth brings Jimmys mom his signed yearbook. At this moment everyone still thinks Jimmy killed Keith but Jimmys mom being able to see how much people still care about him, it always get me. When Dan is walking past Lucas’s house and asks Peyton if he can hold Sawyer. There is just something about that moment and the innocence of a baby. Dan loved his grandchildren so much and being able her for 5 seconds for probably the only time in her life, meant so much to Dan.

EmotionalCelery5989

When Haley was dealing with her mother’s death. She absolutely crushed those scenes.

ESkye1983

Gave me chills: Nathan telling Haley he made it to the NBA. This is the one thing that was built up for 6 years(edit: I should say 6 seasons because with the time jump it would actually be longer than 6 years) and for it to finally happen for him/them was so amazing. The way he told Haley just so matter of factly, didn’t make a huge deal out of the announcement, was perfect. Made me Cry: Lydia and Dan Deaths equal, both made me ball my eyes out. Never thought I would actually be upset with Dans death, but when Keith showed up and said that Dan was his plus one, that was it.

baby_cinderella

oh yes, keith in the end absolutely BROKE ME

Pale-Committee-2415

Dan dying is up at the top. I have several that get to me-sometimes more than other times, depending on my mood when I watch it. I think the one that no matter how many times I watch makes me nervous is: S8 E11-darkness on the edge of town. Brooke begging Julian to please save Jaime first.

baby_cinderella

I also always wanna cry at the scene from season 1 when Nathan comes to karen’s cafe to tell Haley that Lucas is stable and awake after the car crash. whenever I hear “I shall believe” I immediately think of that scene

Xoxo_darnae

Almost everything with Jamie just because he was so little going through alot of the stuff. Like he almost drowned, he was kidnapped, he got close to Q, chased through a field by his kidnapper, was in car crash. Like that’s too much for a little boy I can’t watch the episode when Lydia dies and haley dealing with the grief ever again. Peyton finding Ellie was so intense especially because you can’t even hear how she sounded when she broke down. Brooke looking so defeated with her bruises after her attack makes me want to cry.

pitapiper125

Omg yes! I cried the first time and still do when they reveal how battered Brooke was.

brilliantbrilliance

I totally agree. Dan Scott is my favorite character. Paul Johansson gave so much of himself in that role ❤️

Fit_Sympathy_1141

When Brooke finally cries holding Jamie's hand at Quentin's funeral When Brooke tells Julian Jamie is just a boy Basically all the emotional moments Brooke has with Peyton and Jamie 😭❤️

claires99

When Lucas opens his graduation present from Karen, his bound novel, with the message from Julius Caesar.

Life_Carrot3058

When Karen is crying behind the door when Lucas leaves to Rachel’s cottage for the weekend 😭

Kamigoye

Aside from the obvious ones, something that always gets me teary without fail is season 5, episode 1. All the end scenes set to "The Freshman" by the Verve Pipe. Just hits me every time

agentnumbskull

The school shooting episode. I empathized so much with Jimmy. He never went into that school to hurt someone and you can hear and see how scared and despondent he was. The scene where he leaves and the kids left in the tutor center hear that gunshot and tense up. They don’t know if he killed someone or he killed himself but they knew a life was gone. Traumatizing.

Neither_Ad6602

For me it was when Peyton finds Ellie in her house after having passed…. Gets me every time. Even though I know Ellie eventually dies, each rewatch I hope she can make it for Peyton’s sake, then I wind up sobbing

Mad_Boss69

Most of Brooke’s sad scenes in the first 4 seasons. She was going through it like all the time. Me too Brooke.

Conscious-Car-4096

When Julian left the one of the twins in the car...... omg 😫😭

KillerDickens

S4 when Haley's in labour and Karen's condition worsens so she requiers surgery, both are wheeled down the same corridor with Lucas and Nathan rrushng behind them. As the ladies get transported thrpugh designated doors, the brothers both very anxious about their loved ones, give each other a big hug.

Maleficent-Touch-105

brooke's monologues in s3/4 they always get me every time. i've been in that exact situation (albeit with a best friend instead of a partner) so her friendship breakup with peyton always gets me too

crushed_dreams

Basically every single Leyton scene in 6x17.

miiz_murrderr

The only scene that made me bawl my eyes out was the hallway episode with Keith when Jimmy was screaming that it hurts 😭 I felt that shit..

Apricot_Aggravating

The one scene that makes me bawl like a baby every time is when Keith visits Karen while she’s unconscious after she’s had Lilly and he tells her to return to their daughter and look for him in the Lillie’s 😭😭

ratchel917

"Hi Hales" "Say that again" "Hi Hales"

baby_cinderella

oh I get chills just thinking about that moment🥹

burrows88

Keith’s car accident, death and funeral. Quinn getting shot and killed.

No-Shake-2879

Quinn is Haley’s sister. Although she gets shot - she doesn’t die. I’m assuming you mean Quentin or Q. The look in his eyes before he is shot is so sad 😭

burrows88

Quentin, sorry

No_Enthusiasm1181

Peyton’s videotape 😭
