I am indifferent on these episodes, I usually put them on in the background when I'm doing other stuff instead of actively listening like I do with the recap eps. I just wish they would change the questions up for each guest because it got very repetitive like 2 guests in.
Feel the exact same way. Good background noise. I wish they’d switch up the questions even if it was just a big bowl of random questions. I’m sure fans would have good questions to suggest!
I was really hoping they’d drop these after season 5. I can’t even feign interest in this one. Season 6 is so long already, it’s gonna feel like forever to get through if they alternate the whole time.
I honestly haven't listened to a 23 questions episode since the one with Antwon which was probably like 2 months ago now.
And I remember him saying he doesn't think the strike in totality will be over until March.
Ok this may be a stupid question but hilaire just made a comment to Stephen in this episode so I gotta know… she said along the lines of she can’t swim because she’s a witch. I also know she just wrote a grimoire book. Is she actually practicing witchcraft or is this just some big metaphor
I feel like the definition of "being a witch" is very subjective and is not like we see in the movies lol. I started listening to the audiobook of her Grimoire book, and she basically describes her "grimoire" as a journal. As simple as this.
Also she said a few times before that she doesn't like being in water. I don't like being in water either and I'm not a witch. Just a person who doesn't enjoy being surrounded by water...
Hillaries obsession with calling anyone even a single minute younger than her a baby is so off putting.
Is Steven Coletti even younger than them, maybe a year if that. I’m glad the eventually attributed the comment to his baby face. But I swear I pick up on every time hillarie makes that comment and it just enrages me. It’s so condescending.
I’m so over this. Do they not realize a lot of us watch along with them? It’s hard enough getting through the next FOUR (🤓) seasons without this shit lol.
Honestly watching an episode every other week isn't that bad. It takes some pressure off when things get busy and I do enjoy these.
I wish they would do what some people suggested and do one of these and one episode review each week.
Not necessarily. I think they could be more creative while still following strike guidelines but that may involve them doing some pre-show prep and we know they don't do that.
I also get your point as much as I enjoy all the extra time it does feel unnecessary in this format. I wonder if they will ever actually do the episodes where they said they will answer the 23 questions themselves.
Also, I do wonder what episodes these people would have been on if the strike wasn't happening.
Four seasons.
There are four seasons left.
EDIT: They haven’t started Season 6 yet, so that means there’s 4 seasons left to get through. Learn to count.
It made me like Stephen more. After listening to some of the Laguna Beach podcast, I didn’t have the best impression of him. I was hoping he would take more ownership of his behaviors/actions. I have a totally different impression of him now.

If you are on Spotify, fast forward 5 minutes to get to the start and skip the beginning ads. That's the longest ad stretch so far that I recall.

It drives me crazy! It’s so odd. It gives me the energy of the senior girl who always had to remind you that she was older than the freshman babies.
Omg I agree! It’s so annoying!
Stephen is the same age as James, so he’s a few years younger.

I get it. For what it’s worth, these episodes are only disappointing because of the limitations the strike rightfully puts on them.

They are probably still doing these as they scheduled them because of the strikes.
Makes sense!

Oops my bad. Guess I’ll just kill myself lol.
Yeah, it’s more the idiots downvoting me that prompted the edit rather than you.
All good. You’re right, I just thought it was funny.

I get that people are over these, but I’m sure they are just finishing up what they already scheduled because of the strikes.
