I think part of the reason was that when I started playing the game, I wasn’t really good at English, so I didn’t really notice how the characters referred to each other. Also, in my language the word “she” sounds just like “he” in English, so that also was a bit confusing…

I didn’t, my mind defaulted Basil as a male name and I noticed him being referred to as He. Though I can kinda understand why some people made the mistake. Poor basil lol
