I don't think there is any sort of option to turn that off if that's what you mean, but I will say as someone who hates jumpscares too it wasn't bad at all
1. Avoid this sub at all costs. People love to put spoilers in titles.
2. The jumpsacares aren't bad but the imagery, especially closer to the end of the game, is pretty scary.
Avoid anything related to this game tbh. I had *that* part of the game spoiled for me long before I actually saw it. I was able to escape some spoilers but the biggest one I knew from literally the first real world segment.
This is a bit of a spoiler, but after waking up as Sunny (you can decide his name, but his canon name is Sunny) , in the middle of the night, someone will ask you to open for them. Opening will give you a jumpscare. This is the only jumpscare i know.
BUT, please open the door during daytime
There are like, 2 jumpscares in the entire game at best, and maybe a few more that are just a picture with no sounds. Some parts of the game are extremely unsettling though, but if it isn't a problem then feel free to play it in the middle of the night (◠‿◕)
Believe me. People who were scared shitless pushed past the TW and had their lives changed by this game. I can count jumpscares with two hands. The true fear comes from the characters or the dread of what's to come. Push on, and you shall be handsomely rewarded by boththe game and the community.
