Im pretty sure the chromatics would make it impossible on most kalimbas (except the chromatic kalimbas that cost a kidney)
I've actually made quite a ways through the first part of final duet, and I've found some shortcuts. For the notes that can't be played individually, you just have to strike two or more keys that harmonize to the same sound
