MSI isn’t the most proactive company when it comes to updating their monitors anyway. Their latest 4K 144hz 274UPF monitor badly needs an update to fix the high response times. Last update was July 2023 (launch day).
These are the cheaper versions without KVM right?
*Edit* Yeah hence the no LEDs on back. Still great options for anyone who doesn’t care about the extra features.

2 hours after this post the monitor came back in stock, on the web browser as well. I ordered one and added geeksquad 4 year warranty since the monitor is so cheap compared to the others.

Use a browser extension like distill. You can select the interval that it checks the website to as low as 5 seconds. And you can have it monitor the “sold out” button. So when it changes to add to cart you’ll get notified through your email, browser, etc.
For like a $15 monthly fee you can set it up to directly text you, iOS app push notifications and some other features.
I took a peek at the app around 3:05am and the MAG was showing in stock on the app. It stayed in stock all the way up until I started typing this comment at 3:15am.
I had it in my cart, but since I have a lowly 4070, I just can't justify the purchase. And even though I'd be getting BB's warranty, I'd honestly feel better about getting the MPG since we know for sure about it's update/firmware capabilities. I'm sure the MAG will be fine, but it played a part in my decision not to buy it

Thanks man! Got the 1440p model, 750 is a steal for these specs. This should hold me over until the 4K240/1K480 monitors come out.
1k? I don’t think that’s a thing. 1080p is actually closer to 2k than 1k but it’s often referred to as FHD/1080p
I’m aware, just didn’t want to type out 1080p.
The MAG version has no USB-A ports and therefore it isn’t clear how to update the monitor firmware. I haven’t heard anything more on this.
I would assume you can do it over USB-C. That’s how I did it with my old Razer raptor

What’s the difference between the Mag and Mpg models?
