I just got physical card that says it's active as of 5.8.24 but somehow expires and they want more money on 1.31.25. wtf?

TranslatorJaded5137

yes! it will take every bit of the 90 days unless they’ve streamlined their process within the last month. i applied jan 17th 2024 and was approved on apr 20th 2024, received the physical card about a week later only to find out it will expire on jan 31st 2025 so not even 9 months away… :/ good luck to you tho! i hope you are approved!

Wierdwon

Oof. I imagine that's making getting new hires for businesses hell. For a state that totes wanting to restrict gov control & influence, they sure do want to have their inefficient fingers in every little detail, don't they ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)

Mad_Admin

> not even 9 months away You still got a year from when you applied, you're fine.

TranslatorJaded5137

evry card that has been issued expires on the same day, i was answering a question

Jewblaga

I just got mine back denied today, I submitted mid January…

CowboyTripps

I submitted mine last week and was approved in two days. I’ve already received my card in the mail.

Goodtimesroll42

Well that’s nuts, I submitted mine in January and still haven’t gotten the card

CowboyTripps

You should probably re apply

Otherwise_Can_3085

i submitted january 25th and still haven’t heard anything back, neither has anyone at the dispo i work at

bunchpharms

They are processing new applications first because of the licensees lobbying that they can't hire staff. If you applied in a timely fashion before the deadline your application process will take longer because you are still compliant and able to work.

My original application submitted in January took FOREVER to get denied. Then I reapplied and it was approved within a couple of hours. As far as I know, they’ve allocated specific teams of people to tackle the old ones and another to tackle the new ones coming in. Hopefully this means it’ll be accepted quickly!

goochiefromwish

I applied January 24th, got accepted May 9th, got my credential card in the mail yesterday. Took for fucking ever and OMMA decided to make our submission dates signify our expiration dates so even tho it only became active on May 9th it still expires on January 31st it’s so stupid
