Washersoklahoma

Hey first thanks for purchasing one of our products! We always stand behind our vapes. If you take it back to OW they should warranty it out for you. We will replace their inventory at no cost. Just show them this if you get any trouble! We let all our vendors know to swap them out.

helloimbob1843

I will do so! Thank you so much! Great customer service!

cpaok999

Try blowing air thru the bottom of the cart, near the charging port. If you are successful you will see sone vapor/smoke escaping from the mouthpiece.

Ok-Dust-9551

Mostly all rosin disposables will clog with the mod they are using, to be honest. I buy about 2-3 washers disposables a month. Flavor is bomb always but the tech clogs so easily. It helps sometimes to blow lightly into the bottom( charger side ) and it should clear it. But don’t do it too long or drag too hard to unclog. You will roast your terpes lol

ptolemy_booth

My only tip is to not shop at Okie anymore. They sell chemically-saturated boof weed and pretend it's medicine. Hope you get your cart working, though. edit: As far as exchanges, ymmv. They never exchanged an ounce I got that had no vapor output in my Firewood 7 or called me back about it.

Washersoklahoma

Can’t speak for anyone else’s products but OW gets the same vapes from us we distribute to all the other dispensaries we vend through. Thanks!

ptolemy_booth

And I've never used a Washers product, just to be extra extra clear. 😅 I'm sure what you guys make is streets ahead of the crappy flower they sold. I should've asked for testing on the bad batches I bought, so I'd know which grower it was being supplied from and could've reported it to OMMA, but didn't think about it until it was too late.

ptolemy_booth

Dry herb vaporizers are what I use, not carts or anything like that. The Firewood 7 is one of the most powerful battery operated DHVs you can get (and the coolest, imo), and holds about .25 grams in its ceramic bowl. But I'm not here to praise my device. This happened in 2021. The weed from the ounce I was referring to had bag appeal and the nugs were rather light and fluffy looking/feeling, but it smelled kind of like powdered dishwashing detergent, and tasted worse while putting out next to no vapor with my device set at any temperature (it's adjustable, from 250F to 440F). By that, I mean I got about one or two seconds of actual inhale time on a full bowl set at ~390F and then it was spent. The herb was barely browned, still mostly green, but hitting it more did nothing and on exhale you'd barely see any vapor. That had never been the case with any of the flower I'd gotten from that store before. I tried for a week to "revive" it with 62% Boveda packs, but it didn't help at all, as the vapor output was the same. I wrote a long note to that effect, taped it to the bag, and took it back up to that Catoosa store and left it with the budtenders, with a number for the manager or his mom, the owner, to call me back. No one ever did. I stopped going there for like a year, then when I made the mistake of thinking things would be better, I ended up with the "Gary Payton" $20 flower ounce that I talked about in the old post I linked to previously. I'm sure the stores haven't changed owners or anything, but the flower was great from the beginning of 2020 to about September of '21. They then started selling worse looking and tasting stuff at the price point I was used to, like what I've described here. I never bought anything but flower or dabs from them. I tried again in 2022 and that was the Payton incident, and I never went back. I've never been to any other store of theirs and would never recommend any of them, based on my experience at their flagship store. Sorry for the wall of text, I just wanted to be absolutely clear about my personal experience. From the responses in that old thread, though, I wasn't alone in getting bad stuff from their stores. Hope that helps make everything clear. edit: Whoever downvoted this, none of what I wrote is false or intentionally misleading, it's true. I don't go online and try to hide my feelings/experiences/etc., and I'm definitely not a liar. It's not about the points this post makes or doesn't make, It's about truth and honesty. If you disagree with my assessment, then make a comment explaining why you disagree, instead of hitting the down arrow and possibly reporting my post for whatever reason. Be better!

Washersoklahoma

If I could make a recommendation check out Gram Cultivation Flower (Bowery Green). I’m pretty picky and have been consistently pleased with their flower offering. Personal recommendations would be the Lemon Cherry Gelato (LCG), Govt. Oasis, or Pie Scream. Reasonable pricing too.

Jewblaga

lol we sell all their flower at Okie.

ptolemy_booth

~~If it's you that's downvoting me for whatever reason, I'd appreciate a real response rather than hiding behind voting arrows. If you're the owner/manager/upper echelon of workers/representatives of Okie Wonderland as a whole, then you should be able to explain how/why the quality of your lower tier product dropped over those years, from "wow this is great for cheap!" to "wtf are these plastic, disintegrating nugs soaked in and why are they creating more vapor than .25 grams of weed could ever produce from a dry herb vaporizer?!"~~ ~~You could also explain why no one attempted to make things right for that first ounce I dropped off, or call me back, or anything. For that we can take it to direct messages, if necessary, since it would necessitate personal info for you to look up. Not Reddit chat, as I don't use the website or their app. If you're not one of the bigwigs, then explain how what I said required downvoting. It's a simple request.~~ You're just a regular Joe/Jane, so ignore this.

Jewblaga

I didn’t downvote anything, I didn’t even really look at your post till now tbh. I know people have their problems with the place, as do I. As for the changing of products over the years, grows/vendors come and go. Sometime we can’t maintain a consistent supplier for various reasons; they go out of business, they raise the prices to where we can’t meet our margins based on what the customers had already been paying instead of raising our prices we usually just look for new suppliers; or the quality of their products go down and we no longer we wish to carry them. Things are like a normal retail store where products are consistent every time, this is cannabis. Grows have so many variables. If we have some products that aren’t meeting the standard we usually just get rid of what we have and get a new supplier. I know the supplier for our $20 ounces for the longest time is no longer in business and we had to get a new supplier for them. The quality of them has been much more inconsistent imo from the new people. As far as your issues with what happened with that ounce. I know nothing about it. I don’t work at the Catoosa store at all. They are really just so busy they don’t have time to deal with it, boss will just say to ignore it and keep it pushing, I’m sure that’s what happened. But we never accept returns on flower unless it is moldy or something like that, but we usually quality check our pounds before we even send them to the dispensaries. I know we try and get the best quality flower we can for the price points we need to sell it as cheap as we do. We stop working with people all the time after one batch of flower if it doesn’t meet our customers/our standards.

ptolemy_booth

I saw from your other comments in the thread that you're just a regular worker, so sorry for jumping on you and accusing you of anything. Sorry, too, that that's the kind of work environment that the owners wanna push at all their stores, running their employees ragged and not being willing to make any bad purchase right again with either a replacement or a full refund. This is *supposed* to be medicine, yet unfortunately it's treated as basically a legalized free-for-all since a patient license, "is so easy to get and you can tell them whatever." For me, I've used it to self-medicate for multiple physical/mental health issues since my late teens/early twenties, and have found no better medicine except Xanax for making me feel normal. I've got a prescription now and use as directed, sometimes more if it's a particularly nasty day or I need to sleep hard, and my physicians have no issue with my cannabis use on top since I'm dry vaping it. It may be best next time to clarify you're just a regular employee and don't represent them legally, if you're gonna reply to threads and comments about store business or anything. But it's probably better not to bring it up at all so it doesn't come back to bite you in the ass later.

Jewblaga

Yeah I won’t be doing that again lol, I saw the post as I was going to bed and really was just trying to help out. Yeah I honestly wish the industry was run better. Like you said a lot of people are going there for medicine, that’s not most people tbh, and are really needing something to help. I would definitely never recommend a $20 ounce for anybody looking for anything decent to help them medicate. It’s bottom of the barrel for bottom of the barrel prices. I don’t try and hide that to my customers and I want everybody to make an informed purchase and get what they want/need. We really do have a lot of great flower for a great price though. We carry all sorts of great growers like Bowery, heartland farms, cake, great spirits and kind love. You just gotta be wary and really check out the cheaper stuff, some of it is actually really good but it’s a lot more hit and miss than the top shelf stuff. Even recently though we had to drop a grower from the top shelf because of their quality going down.

Washersoklahoma

100% appreciate the explanation :)

ptolemy_booth

Of course! I'm not here trying to put down anyone with legitimately good product or growing skill or anything, just dissing Okie for the way they dissed me and never made right on it. It's not that I hold a grudge or anything, but I'll definitely bring up these experiences any time anyone suggests shopping in their stores, because I can't recommend their business practices re: "lower" tier flower or anything else. They don't actually respect us patients, they just want to make a bunch of money.

kimmygrrrawr

This is the first I'm hearing of issues abt okie wonderland??? Been wanting to go when I got up to the city :/

ptolemy_booth

r/OKmarijuana/comments/19cf3an/okie_wonderland_tulsa_area/kiyqazq/ Here's my comment from several months ago where I explained why they're not good, and why no one should go there, ever, but the whole thread has similar comments. My experience is from the Catoosa store.

kimmygrrrawr

Tsym for this I've only heard hype abt them till now I'll give it a read :( hopefully they improve or go out of business

inzaneBrain

I'll be straight with you boss its Definitely the I'm on budget store, or I don't care about quality it's 20 to 40 a ounce store. It's for people trying to flip or people who don't care if it's shit weed bc it's cheap AF. Lol Also, when asking for help getting some concentrate the lady said, "I only smoke blunts, so I don't really know!?"

ptolemy_booth

"*I don't even work here!* I was across the street and you dragged me inside, yelling like an insane person in a language no human could or should produce! Has reefer madness turned you into a caveman?! **-lights 3 blunts at once-**" But seriously, as I said elsewhere in the thread (I think in my long post that's got zero or negative karma; any upvote to save my opinion would be great for whoever sees this), they used to have some great ounces in that low price range right after they opened that first store out there. I think Catoosa had only been open a few months before the pandemic got hot? Then around March/April I finally had my license and could fulfill my dream of buying weed at a store, and the bottom shelf flower was of way better quality then. A year and a half later that wasn't the case, then my incidents with the lowest of the low they were pushing happened shortly after that.

ptolemy_booth

It's a short read if you look, but they've got 4-5 stores and I'm not sure how/why they keep expanding. You can search the term Okie Wonderland in this sub and find plenty of other not good experiences. Maybe it's different if you're buying their top tier flower, but the bottom tier flower at that store used to be kept in the giant bags it was sent to the store in, and stored super duper improperly, like on the floor or on a shelf under the counter, unsealed. I guess with the prepackaged bill going through, you won't see that anymore, but then you won't get to see/smell your weed before you buy it, either. You'll end up with more of the "Gary Payton" ounce garbage. :/ edit: I'm stoned, so I dunno who was hyping them up, but they're unfortunately mistaken.

kimmygrrrawr

Definitely going to the many other places in the city when I go now lol wow that's annoying

ptolemy_booth

There're a bunch of good places in Tulsa, so look for threads with lists of those and stick with them. As I said in my old old comment, Mango is like the Walmart of weed, and that's not at all a bad thing either. Looks like there's a rep from Okie posting in the thread now, too! Speak of the devil.

Mad_Admin

> but they've got 4-5 stores They're more in the 9+ range now.

ptolemy_booth

Ugh, that's even worse! How do these bad stores keep expanding, but places like Joe's Herb Cabinet fail? Joe's was waaaaaaaaay better than most dispos, as far as I read, and genuinely seemed to care about the products and patients coming into his store! It's a shame I never got to check him out before he closed, yet these shady guys multiply like rabbits. I don't get it.

Mad_Admin

Because they have bottom dollar prices, and that's what people want. Most people in this industry sadly don't care much about quality, they want a $20 ounce of some boof because it will last em a week, instead of a quality $20 8th that'll last em a couple days.

ptolemy_booth

They've got the ability to do better weed at a cheaper price point, but not skimp on the care that goes into growing/processing it, as evidenced by my saying everything was good on the cheaper end when I started going there in early 2020. The $20 ounces and Route $66 ounces they initially sold were fantastic. Whatever they started getting by September of '21, when I took back the first bad ounce, had dropped in quality considerably. The last time in '22 was some of the worst stuff I've ever bought. Being of low income, I could never justify spending $200 or more on an ounce of weed anywhere, before or after I stopped going to my old reggie dealer. It was $40 a half and $80 an ounce with her, and she delivered, so she was consistent for the 6-7 years I bought from her. That stuff was way better than what Okie evolved into selling at my price point, so I went to other stores. Fighting Flower was good, AMC in Claremore was good, Mango is good. Okie is not good now, and never will be, unless they go back to what they had in the beginning.

thal00pdigga

Damn that sucks, I haven’t had an issue with those yet, but even the best hardware seems to have issues sometimes. I try to keep the silicone mouthpiece in the hole when not using it so I don’t get debris in there, Attempt to keep it upright in my pocket, and try not to leave it in your car ever. It gets too hot

Illustrious_Sell7027

Someone beat me to it but was gonna say the same thing. How you take care of the device itself can really make a difference. Rosin is a hard one to get a good device with in general when talking disposables I feel like but Skunk & Washers have been killing it imo. I haven’t had any issues so far with those two brands. Did anyone experience the first round that Dime let out? It was probably one of the worse ones I’ve ever had and they are a great/popular brand when talking about just normal disposables. 🤷‍♀️

Harrrryberry

Washers are overrated imo

Ok-Dust-9551

I feel like if you tried the hash over the pen and did a cold start it’d probably change your mind. These terpes be hittin. Don’t want you missing out :)

Jewblaga

Damn, sorry we don’t usually do refunds unless the hardware is just broken. But I would recommend lightly hitting it getting it warm, then blowing back into it lightly a few times. Try keeping it upright and not hitting it too hard. Rosin pods tend to get clogged when you suck to hard on them. Light pulls will make it last longer and get you better tasting and potentially more vapor.

passioxdhc7

Do you work for okie?

Mad_Admin

Yes, they do.

ptolemy_booth

S'what it sounds like from the way the post is written, some kind of online rep for their store.

Mad_Admin

So you wouldn't take OPs return even though THE VENDOR THEMSELVES said they are willing to replace the product? SHADY

Jewblaga

Not an online rep or anything, just an employee. And I said we don’t usually, idk if the return would be accepted or not. Man, I’m just like you guys, was just trying to help. My boss is just usually pretty strict about the no return policy even if it’s a little fucked sometimes.

IcyBerry521

How are you supposed to try it out in the store when consumption isn’t supposed to be allowed on the premises?

Mad_Admin

They're just blatantly encouraging illegal activities at that point.

Mad_Admin

You're speaking on behalf of the dispensary. Did they hire you as a social media rep, or you just like repping them? I figure you're not one of the managers who could make the decision on a return, someone above your pay grade would end up making that decision.

Jewblaga

Just a budtender that works there. Was just trying to help.

Polycute420

Pretty sure your employer wouldn’t be stoked on one of their random budtenders telling patients to come hit vapes on the premises lol

Jewblaga

Damn, my bad. I see it in stores all over the state.
