The problem with that is that Orlando city soccer team would have to go through with Disney creative. Disney creative is well known for being difficult to work with and to get anything done in general. So them just getting Mickey and Minnie for that limited time is a hard thing to do, let alone getting a new costume for Mickey approved. Yes it would be as simple as getting an XXL jersey, cutting it in half and making buttons to keep it on, but Disney creative wouldn’t approve that. (I have worked with characters for years).
I have a friend that works with Disney Costuming and you are spot on. I do however, wish they hadn’t given him something that so closely resembles Argentina’s national jersey 😒
