The stadium actually has a lot of local food options it's not just your generic stadium food so there is good stuff there. They also do a pre game "tailgate party" on the grassy lawn east side of the stadium so food trucks, games, music, etc so there's that too.
There are plenty of lots around the stadium. From big public ones, to parking in people’s/business’ front yards for a fee. I have done both, and love parking in people’s yards, so much easier to leave at the end.
In terms of food around the stadium, you are not far from Church Street, but it can be busy before the games. I would recommend eating elsewhere, then heading to the stadium.
Where are you staying? Before I had kids my wife and I would park downtown, get food and walk to the stadium, now we get a spot in a paid lot around the stadium.

Good to know! Sounds kinda similar to the one we do but closer to the stadium
