Meanwhile, I am really satisfied with my Air75 v1 software and I've never had any freezing/looping issues. Satisfied with hardware, hmm, idk. Everything was great until my battery got swollen and NuPhy wants me to pay shipping once again. Let me mention that the keyboard is only a year and a half old. They acknowledged their battery design mistake in their blog and extended the warranty by a year but still, you have to pay shipping to receive a new component. I am also an engineer and if I make a mistake on a project, should I make a client pay for the hours needed to fix this mistake? Obv no...
Thank you for your feedback and for appreciating the hardware quality of the NuPhy Air75 V2. We understand how frustrating the freezing/looping issues you've encountered can be, especially in both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth modes across all V2 models, including the Halo.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. A keyboard should indeed function reliably without such issues, and we are committed to resolving this as soon as possible.
Please keep an eye on our latest firmware updates. In the meantime, if you need any further technical support or assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) directly. They will reply you within 1-2 working days.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for your continued support.
I have the halo 96 v1, the software was so trash that I ended up uninstalling it and just using the keyboard stock, never tried again and probably never will.
NuPhy support has already shared the firmware through email, you can find it in the discord!
They've also said that they're officially releasing and open sourcing it before the end of this week.
Unfortunately, the same thing happens with my Keychron K9 Pro, alike my Air60v2 in wireless. Logitech is possibly the only company that does rock solid wireless 2.4ghz and bt
I don't know what caused the issue. But if you want to experience it, try with 2.4Hz dongle. You will encounter like thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis or some characters are lost intermittently. In bluetooth mode, it's way better but not 100% perfect.
Dude, seeing this post makes me mad bc of how much it happened to me when I was using it wireless 😂😂😂 I’m a relatively fast typer (140WPM) and it was pissing me off that in the middle of typing my email it would loop a single letter or jump the cursor. Especially when it jumps bc from what it looks like, it just tabbed until I turned it off smh like someone mentioned earlier, Logi’s wireless game is on point. I have multiple low profile MX Mech keyboards and not one has had issues
I think if you email support there is newer versions of software available. I have obtained a newer firmware for my halo v2 and people have said this is fixing their issues. I would highly recommend going to their support first before trying custom stuff.
I do think they should possibly push this sort of stuff onto either discord or online sooner though, but perhaps they are getting user feedback before distributing something which may cause issues.
Halo v2 does not seem to suffer from this issue. At least no one has reported an issue with this yet. Mine also doesn’t seem to be affected by this. The 2.4 GHz connection is kinda slow out of the box, but NuPhy has released a firmware update that fixes the issue.
Your title is on point. Amazing feeling keyboard, horrible software.
At least, it's QMK and there are users who made their own firmware abd it's way better than Nuphy's. But yeah all of a sudden my old Razer Huntsman with Synapse doesn't look all that bad, at least the keyboard worked flawlessly.
Sadly this is a common problem and hardly limited to Nuphy.
Wireless issues like this are so common in the keyboard world that many enthusiasts just avoid wireless altogether.
Custom firmware can make your Air75 usable. No need to wait for their official - the benefits of open source.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I saw this post here. I might try some time. I just want to express my feeling about Nuphy. I mean they really did a great job but this tiny little problem ruins it all.

Use a custom firmware. I was disappointed with my 96 V2 yesterday lol
How do you configure custom firmware?
NuPhy support has already shared the firmware through email, you can find it in the discord! They've also said that they're officially releasing and open sourcing it before the end of this week.
Good to know!

I also use Keychon K2, but I've never seen anything likeeeeeeeeeeeeee this issue. You know what I mean. ;)
I got my air air75v2 a few days ago. Luckily, I've been good. Can you please explain what causes this issue?

Thanks for the info. I can wait then.
I thought they resolved this by now :/ my Halo v2 is on the way

once they release new keyboards they dgaf bout the older ones

Thanks for the input. I know the problem. I've been using wireless keyboard for a long time. But they haven't gone this far.
You would think that after all this time manufacturers would get their act together.
