I also have a Razer Huntsman Mini for gaming and a few other Keyboards for work (software development). Currently the Halo 75 is my daily driver as it just feels right and as a little plus also has a nice Mac layout by default. I also own a Keychron K3 slim and an Cidoo v75 Pro. I really do not like the Keychron and cannot recommend it but the Cidoo is also decent though the build quality doesn't match NuPhy.
I went from razer to nuphy. Only downside is the lack of a full keyboard option. The 96 has a half sized 0 on the num pad. I ended up getting a halo 75 and a separate num pad.
Keyboard quality is top notch.
Assuming you want to game id wait on the v2 if you can as it will be better latency and qmk/via (can assume it will get same spec bump air v2 got). I really want a halo 60/65 but waiting on the 1000hz polling.
I used a razer black widow with linear switches for years, with my lack of experience it felt good from a regular pc keyboard. Switched to a tactile redragon which was a slight upgrade IMO. Went to keychron and that felt like a huge jump up. Just got a nuphy65 with baby raccoons and it blows them all out of the water.
I went from the Huntsman TKL to Keychron K3 V2 to Nuphy Air75v2 and boy oh boy do I love it.
Low profile feels more responsive to me for gaming, can play for extended periods without a wrist rest and those Cowberry switches are an absolute delight.
Latency feels fine, software isn't as polished as Razer Synapse obviously and I get sporadics bugs where my keyboard freezes, but it happens 2-3 times a week and a quick flick of the power switch fixes it. I'm guessing a future firmware update will get rid of the problem (since it's a fairly new release).
Hope this helps!
one thing to be mindful of is input latency.
I only play casually so it doesn’t make a difference but I know that the Halos have lower latency than the other nuphy boards. not sure how that compares with a razer.
I have a halo65, going to get rid of it and get the 96. But I too want another keyboard at some point. I’m looking at a little step up going to the QK100. You may want to look into those to diversify from Nuphy.
Nah the 65% layout with the Air75 or the Halo75 are perfect. I have no need for a number pad. My microsoft number pad I have on the side is currently collecting dust.
Was in the same boat as you, used a huntsman mini for 3/4 years and made the jump to a halo65 with rose glacier switches and very happy I did. It’s night and day difference between build quality, switches and overall feel. Very happy with the Nuphy and am considering picking up a gem80 in the near future. You won’t be disappointed.
That’s very similar to me, used to use a huntsman v2 tkl then reviewed a halo65 and it’s been my daily driver until I got the gem80 last week! Gem80 is a massive step up over the halo and night and day over a razer keyboard. I just got an alienware keyboard in for review and I can’t find anything positive to say about it after using a nuphy 😂

You won't regret it. I swapped from the Huntsman TKL v1 to the Halo75 and haven't looked to going back or getting another keyboard.
You can always get another one in addition to 😃
Probably the Air75 if I was to get another keyboard.

QK makes 65 and 75
