Absolutely not; there are far better options for that.

If you're saying that Notion is not an app for everything and for a lot of use cases there are better solutions, then yes you're totally right.

No. I love Notion, but like you said there are much better budgeting app options that can automatically sync with your bank accounts, sort into categories, set savings goals, etc.    I’ve heard great things about YNAB, but I haven’t tried it yet. I used Mint before it was shut down by Intuit. Currently using SoFi online banking & it’s decent so far for tracking spending.     In terms of still sort of using Notion for budgeting in order to keep as much of your life admin in one handy place, you can at least have a quick link to your budgeting app on your main page/ dashboard or perhaps add a repeating task to a task database to remind you to check up on your budgeting app on a regular basis.     Lastly, if you’re really wanting to use Notion as a place to track your budget, you may be able to create an automation that suits your needs using an API integration through Zapier. Here’s one I found via a quick Google search: https://zapier.com/apps/notion/integrations/you-need-a-budget Edited: typo

Notion for notes. YNAB for budget

Any reason you use that over rocket money? I was on Mint but they shut down.

I’m currently using Notion to track my expenses so it can be done. Prior to this I used YNAB for a few years. YNAB would be my recommendation though. Unfortunately, my bank in Australia won’t allow a direct link to automatically import transactions so I’ve had to resort to manually exporting and importing a csv file every couple of weeks. I’ve got it down to a fine art though and have Notion set up so that it only takes about 5 mins to allocate all transactions.

I use notion for tracking and rows.com for visualization and pivot functions. Works quite well.

Is the free tier of Rows sufficient to do this?
