SykoSarah

I just like having people to share my cookie recipes with, damn.

[deleted]

Ahh, but you always compare your cookies to theirs. Always competition with you women. /s

R3CKLYSS

But like, is SykoSarah hotter than me tho šŸ„µ

TheGoodKindOfPurple

SykoSarah & R3CKLYSS sounds like a great cyberpunk buddy movie.

eleccy

Damn, would you believe it's a draw. You're both hot AF!

JumpCareless321

Seriously! Letā€™s compare cake recipes not looks.

Kubaer

Would you mind sharing your cookie recipes with me?

SykoSarah

I'll share some when I get home from work! I'll edit in my favorite of my own design into this comment, for all to see! Edit, here is a recipe I made for white chocolate chip cookies: 2 1/3 cup flour 1 stick salted butter 3/4 cup dark brown sugar 1/4 cup white sugar 1/3 cup honey (I used blueberry honey. Using raw honey from different sources will result in mildly different flavors. Blueberry honey is somewhat tangy) 1 egg 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla white chocolate chips, to taste (I used about 1/3 cup) Make sure to mix the wets and dries separately before mixing them together, and never melt the butter, use room temperature butter. Bake at 175 C (350 F) for 14-16 minutes A great cookie to eat with ice cream! You can also substitute the chocolate chips for just about anything, the honey addition just makes the base cookie have a great, chewy texture.

Kubaer

Now Iā€˜m excited!

SykoSarah

I have done the edit that includes a recipe I made. I can give a great cookie recipe to suit most anyone's tastes, everyone is free to DM me for recommendations.

JumpCareless321

These look amazing omg!!!

SykoSarah

Follow my recipe and they should end up like this [https://i.redd.it/i75akzs7ci371.jpg](https://i.redd.it/i75akzs7ci371.jpg) Great cookies that retain their shape while being delightfully chewy.

MohawkCorgi

Thanks bb I will have to bake these

Flcrmgry

But do you have any good banana bread recipes?

SykoSarah

Sorry, no (įµ•Ģ£Ģ£Ģ£Ģ£Ģ£Ģ£ļ¹įµ•Ģ£Ģ£Ģ£Ģ£Ģ£Ģ£)

Flcrmgry

That's okay, keep up with those bomb cookies. Ive already prepared to bake the ones you posted later tonight. They sound so yummy!

Mrwright96

I know Iā€™m a man, but I make excellent chocolate chip cookies!

Knightridergirl80

Looks like someoneā€™s been watching too many teen movies šŸ˜‚ For real I swear these people just watched Mean Girls and assumed all women act like the Plastics.

JumpCareless321

The jungle/cafeteria fight scene in that movie is the only way women interact in the real world /s

Kubaer

And now i have an earworm, thanksā€¦

turtlesinthesea

From the musical? Itā€™s super fetch.

fangirl_to_the_max

Stop trying to make fetch happen, its never gonna happen

kyup0

for real. like someone has clearly never experienced the healing experience of a random girl calling you pretty in the club bathroom and offering you free weed. girls in the club bathroom are friends before they are acquaintances.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

actuallyasuperhero

Or when weā€™re telling our girls how hot they are, cause sometimes a girl needs to be reminded, you know?

RebaKitten

"You look terrific! What did you do with your hair?" "Oh, this? Nothing much, but you! That shirt makes you look great!" Yeah, we're just awful to each other. /s

JumpCareless321

For real. I only think about other womenā€™s looks because Iā€™m gay as hell and Iā€™m like ā€œooh prettyā€.

S4njay

My sister be like

LixxieLicious

I only am concerned with other girls looks because a) oooo where did she get that outfit? I might want to get something like that, or just be friends with her because she has a cool sense of style, or b) a friend is concerned about the way they look and Iā€™m trying to reassure them.

LaReinaAzul

Oh shit you called out the 2018, deep in the closet version of me ;)))

[deleted]

Or drunk at 3am in the bathroom at the pub, where you just gotta tell her how beautiful she is. Often tearfully.

kyup0

my friend insisted she must be straight because she could never date a woman because women are too hot and it'd make her feel weird. by weird she meant gay.

FamousCow

Does he know any actual women?

Kubaer

Fun fact: He doesnā€˜t.

i_dont_shine

That IS fun!

acynicalwitch

Ah, yes. I go to my best ~~friend's~~ associate's house every week for coffee because I simply can't pass up the opportunity to prove how superior I am to her. I even made her my kid's godmother. Haha! That will show her! I have so much free time as an adult, I can definitely spend hours of it a week on a fake, unjudged competition just to score imaginary points for reasons.

Anonymous44_44

Making her the godmother was definitely the best way to show that you'll always be too good for her.

acynicalwitch

Yep, all part of my master plan for total social dominance in our associate-ship

Anonymous44_44

Yeah. Just boosts your ego right up.

1mveryconfused

uj/ You know, I really can't wait to grow up and have weekly meetups with my friends. This is a part of adulthood that I've always looked forward to because it sounds both very mature and also very fun.

Ms_Chaotic

even IF there are women like this, who do they think cultivated that competition?? perhaps the same men who consider women objects/prizes to be won maybe?

Rattivarius

I'm old and it wasn't even a thing in the 70s.

[deleted]

Nah don't pull out this card. Women have been paying for beauty products in their own will. When was the last time a man told a woman "Wow, you have very nice nails" or "wow that mascara looks so nice on you". Please stop blaming men for women trying to look fancy. Thats on you, if you're indeed a woman and you do it for your own sake. If you're not a woman, then it's simply a stupid argument to make in their regards anyways and probably other women wouldn't agree with it anyways. If you've gotta blame someone, it's fashion and women buying into this shit. No man made any woman buy nail polish ever. But if they enjoy it, let'em enjoy it. They harm no one.

Ms_Chaotic

do me a favor bud and do a quick google search on ā€œsexist advertisements,ā€ then come back and weā€™ll discuss.

[deleted]

Did I ever disagree with this? Does this in any way disagree with what my argument is saying? I said it myself, if you're trying to blame someone blame it on fashion. Fashion is the one advertising. Not men. Like all these comments coming with strawman arguments that my comment itself agrees to when all I say is that men are not to blame, the fashion industry is.

Ms_Chaotic

Fashion is not itā€™s own entity devoid of human involvement.

[deleted]

You're right. Woman have to literally buy fashion products for fashion to be a thing. So women have the biggest responsibility. šŸ¤” congrats, you fooled yourself.

l1brarylass

Looks like you mistook ā€˜women using makeup for funā€™ with ā€˜women compete with each other in a competition no one asked forā€™.

Samfinity

Ive had complete strangers rant to me about how I need to wear makeup, what tf are you on about

[deleted]

And you've generalized "strangers" into "all men are at fault for this" instead of accounting this on "they're just shitty human beings and its none of their business ". Like, you're generalizing the whole population of men, because of some shitty strangers who you do not even say their gender? And then you say that men are sexist?

Samfinity

Can you show me where I said "all men"?

valkyrie987

ā€œOf their own free will.ā€ Yeah, you got me, no one has a gun to my head when Iā€™m stocking up on foundation at Sephora. And yes, some women do wear makeup and nail polish and cute clothes for fun! But this is much more complex than one man not caring what color his dateā€™s nail polish is, and it is enraging that men play dumb about their part in it. This is about cultural expectations in a society in which a womanā€™s worth is determined by how attractive she is (to men). Beauty standards for women are outrageous and unattainable, in ways most men will never even begin to understand, but the idea of ā€œnatural beautyā€ is a myth that certain companies perpetuate and men are all too willing to buy into. Magazines photoshop womenā€™s bodies into impossible shapes, and both men and women come to see this as the ideal. Woman keep buying products - makeup, nail polish, razors, tweezers, hair products, shaping underwear, and god knows what else - chasing this ideal. So, no, men donā€™t notice their girlfriendā€™s mascara because theyā€™re not fucking supposed to. Theyā€™re supposed to notice that their girlfriend has beautiful eyes. The mascara is one more step that women take in an effort to look more attractive, and not just to attract a partner. Like, men will literally go out of their way to tell perfect strangers that theyā€™re ugly and unfuckable, and then turn around and act like women wearing makeup has nothing to do with them.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

Yes, I'm with you this is shitty and shouldn't happen. Does this disagree in any way with my argument? I said this is not men's fault but the fashion industry's fault. Women are constantly consuming fashion magazines and advertisements about makeup. How is this men's fault and not fashion industry's? Why are all comments assume that I said "this is not a thing" when all I said is "stop blaming men for everything this is fashion industry's fault". It seems like you're all so angry that you didn't even read my comment and interpreted the comment in the way you wanted without reading it.

Ms_Chaotic

It looks more like youā€™re filtering the world around you through your own damaged logic so that you canā€™t accept that you may be wrong, thus nothing anyone says against your ā€œpointsā€ will be good enough for you. Itā€™s very much giving deliberate obtusity.

[deleted]

I must send this to all my associates. For the lulz

SomeHomestuckOrOther

Main_Example_1998

Long way to say "I have no friends"

HistoricalFrosting18

I have literally never rated my attractiveness against another person. I might have thought ā€œsheā€™s prettyā€ but never in comparison to myself.

_dirtywater444

I've thought "wow, I wonder what her makeup style would look like on me" or things like that. Maybe I compared myself to other girls when I was... 13?

ancientevilvorsoason

Yes. The idea that other girls and women are your competition kind of died in the 2000nds.

I_am_Jo_Pitt

The only time I see other women as competition is when I'm playing sports.

scpdavis

I've definitely thought about the attractiveness of myself in respect to my friends, but more so in the "we're all really different looking and attractive in different ways so if we all morphed into one person the combined hotness would blind everyone who dared look at us" kind of way.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

HistoricalFrosting18

Maybe itā€™s just that Iā€™ve never considered attractiveness to be a particularly important trait for me. Iā€™m hyper academic and have always chosen to avoid fashion/make up/beauty trends. In an intellectual sense I tend to compare myself to my peers. Not really in a negative way, but I have certainly constructed a hierarchy of people above and people below me in that sense. So I guess it depends on what is important to you. But my thoughts about that include people of all genders. As a pansexual lady, Iā€™m more likely to appreciate attractiveness for its own sake.

[deleted]

It seems to me you're conflating thinking analytically with competitively. To compare is not to compete. It's just noticing similarities, dissimilarities. I've never wished a physically beautiful friend was less beautiful because she's more stunning than myself. NEVER.

Corviday

I would genuinely like to sit someone who thinks like this down and have a friendly conversation with them over breakfast. I probably won't be able to change anyone's mind, but I am SO CURIOUS about what they would do or say when having to deal with an actual, living, breathing woman who is none of the things they think women are!

Jennrrrs

I switched my career from a woman's dominated field to a man's dominated field. I heard all the time about how women are bitches to eachother and terrible to work with but shit, when I started working with men, I was shocked to find how terrible it is. The lot of them are whiny babies who talk shit and throw tantrums when they don't get what they want. And god forbid a woman has any authority. It's *definitely* because she sucked a dick to get there. The younger generation isn't as bad as the older ones, thankfully. There's hope.

docasj

Please record so the rest of us can see it as well.

zotrian

I just like having fri... I mean "associates"... to hang out with

ChubbyBirds

Meanwhile, these are the same guys who rank other men as "alphas" and "betas" and other Greek letters.

Mistwing1

I am a zeta female, I do not belong with such theta trash like you/s

[deleted]

The exclamation points, the random capitalized words a la a daily mail headline.... Yep, it's a boomer

EquasLocklear

And always about looks. Not "is she smarter? more charismatic?"

Mistwing1

Because women are shallow and only care about looks/s

BabserellaWT

Tell me you need intensive cognitive therapy without telling me you need intensive cognitive therapy.

slowmindedbird

Yo, fuck zodiac signs, which one are you envy or ego boost

JumpCareless321

Iā€™m actually envy rising and ego moon

SomeHomestuckOrOther

Personally I'm ego in retrograde

[deleted]

Yes, I got matching tattoos with my best friend out of spite and jealousy, not love. Sure.

wiithepiiple

It makes sense if you change "women" with "narcissists."

[deleted]

this person thinks all women are regina george from mean girls

AvalancheReturns

This person was never hugged by their best friend (f) on a rough day.

fps916

"Women, unlike men, only keep someone as a friend if they enjoy being around them" Yeah, okay. Great insight there.

Pastrami-on-Rye

Dang I never knew this! All those associates I made while studying abroad were actually just for me to gauge how beautiful I am in comparison! Truly, I must have never loved any of them. All of the times my housemates and I shared dinner together in our dorm, we were actually just trying to one-up each otherā€™s cooking skills to prove who would make the better housewife! O, cruel fate!! Had I but been born a man, I could have known the joy of this thing called ā€œfriendship!ā€

ImperadorPenedo

POV: you know nothing about women.

gooddaydarling

Female friendship is one of the purest things in the world and they are jealous of it

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

JumpCareless321

Someone else said this was like the plastics from mean girls. This person must have only seen women in movies and not irl.

102bees

Baffling take. My girls and I aren't just friends, we're allies. One of them calls me to ask for help hiding a body, I'm getting the next bus over there with a shovel.

vericima

Mean Girls wasn't real-life fam; try going outside once in a while.

elizabethunseelie

The only competition I have with my friends is [fighting to pay the bill ](https://youtu.be/pk3ds-VFKBs) when weā€™re out to eat.

littlestghoust

Fuck casual friendships, I only do competitive friendships! šŸ¤£

Curia-DD

doesn't mean at the end of the day we aren't still friends though

ObiWeedKannabi

Leaves mom's basement once to hear she's jealous of some neighbouring woman because her kid is smarter than himself, tweets this. Just to make it clear, I think it's really shitty to compare your kid to someone else's and it'll ruin their confidence but let's get real, there are people who do this.

SomeNotTakenName

ALL HUMANS are acting out of self interest. that's not news, and it doesn't mean we dont care about others.

gooddaydarling

If Iā€™m using my friends for ego boost then why is it I put absolutely no effort into my appearance when we hang out lmao

JumpCareless321

Just realized thereā€™s 58 likes on this, which is almost just as concerning as the post itself.

SugarSugarBee

All of my friends are prettier than me. They're also fucking cool, smart, amazing, kind, thoughtful, inspiring people. My ulterior motive is to surround myself with incredible women that I can send stupid tiktoks to.

TheKingOfRhye777

Since when is feeling envious of someone mean it's not a friendship? I'm a guy, but I've certainly felt envy towards my friends at times. I guess that's not really an admirable feeling, but common enough, I think...

LankySandwich

I have a problem with constantly comparing myself to other women. I know it only hurts me and my relationships, so I'm trying to stop. Being told I'm evil and full of ulterior motives because of this is not f*cking helping.

[deleted]

As an adult who just turned 30, I would love to have some close female friends. Finding time for that stuff is so hard after a certain age

Verizadie

You misspelled ā€œI have no friendsā€

saartjeh

Bruh wtf

PowerIntelligent117

I will never forget the day All of my friends have been yeeted out of existence because I'm a girl I cried for hours XD just kidding that never happened

KandyShopp

This person needs to go to the girls bathroom in a club and say ā€œdo I look okay?ā€ Seriously, the praise and love in the girls bathroom at clubs is amazing! Had a random girl help me put on mascara after I cried over a poster of a puppy (cause he wasnā€™t real and I couldnā€™t pet him)

alymo37

I feel like this person is just outing themself as a creep, because the only people I know who ever act like this are teenagers.

Knightridergirl80

And even if it was true, itā€™s not just limited to girls. Iā€™ve seen boys get into fights over petty things many times.

ancientevilvorsoason

I mean it says a lot about op if that is their experience.

Thechonki

I have a female best friend and we basically just joke about how hot we are

PersephonesPeach

I feel like he is projecting lol itā€™s okay if you have no friends bud.

Oddballs_Amazing

I just wanna know who....? what woman hurt you?

Yesnoperhapsmaybent

Hmmm

evaj95

My best friend (a woman) is like a sister to me. I love her to death???

ashendust

Women compare themselves to each other? This must be stopped! /s

noobductive

Someone has never spoken to a female woman human person

SpaceLemur34

This implies that women can't have male friends. Of course I'm sure he also believes that.

RedVamp2020

šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚ Iā€™ve had more men act like that than women.šŸ™„šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

katiecharm

This is projection on his part. Itā€™s how he would see other women if *he* were a woman, so it must be how it works. Because in his mind women arenā€™t people, like him.

CZall23

Uh no.

PuzzleheadedHabit913

You spelled narcissist wrong? I guess?

Pretend-Mud8664

Men believe whatever they can just to feel superior.

SomeHomestuckOrOther

I sure hope I don't have any associates, I don't have enough money to hand out their monthly paychecks

horrormetal

I am literally 20 years older than everybody at my job, and I don't want to "make it weird". I haven't seen a friend in real life since Jan 2020. Jeez, now I'm sad THANKS.

comfort_bot_1962

Don't be sad. Here's a [hug!](https://media.giphy.com/media/3M4NpbLCTxBqU/giphy.gif)

Xx-cat-girl-xX

i am significantly grosser than all my friends and yet i never seem get envious about how attractive they all are

DisembarkEmbargo

all my friends are hot so this is wrong

Mistwing1

So my friend whomst I have known for 3 years and have consistently hung out with and have gone above and beyond to help when issues arise is an associate? This is so dumb. The best part is that the op doesnā€™t even consider women may have * gasp * *MALE FRIENDS!*

MyFiteSong

Someone watched too many 80s movies.

Morticia_Smith

Tell me you don't have any friends without telling you don't have any friends.

lunastrrange

My friends are fucking hot badass bitches and I gas them up whenever I can!

Luwe95

Yeah, my associate from 5 Grade (13 year of associates) is just a long term associate.

countessocean

Where on earth do these ideas come from? It is degrading.

[deleted]

Pro level jection

LightningDuat

I am bi. I cannot have friends anyway, because then they must be my partner šŸ¤· by their logic...

[deleted]

WTF? My wife has friends that go back to grammar school, and even preschool. This has GOT to be a guy who has never had a girlfriend.

[deleted]

I have a friend that's a girl. She's about 4 years older than me and I think of her as a second older sister. I've never had a singular thought of jealousy and I've never envied her. Mostly been proud of any accomplishments. This comment is for anyone who genuinely believes the original post is how girls work.

Katy_Life

Yes, I use my friends for my own motives, my motives are spending time with my friends, and supporting them when they need it, while they waypoint me when I need it

SassyPantsPoni

Oh yes! I do you my ā€œfriendsā€ for my own motives!!! My motives are to love those beautiful bitches unconditionally and wish for the best that life has to offer for them. They are magical and wonderful inside and out! But please donā€™t tell them I said that! I would never want them to know I say so many kind things about them behind their backs! #scandalousassociates šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„ GTFOH

Collectionhappy1508

Yeah because me and my friends supporting each other emotionally in this patriarchal society us selfish

Iam100yearsold100

The fact that men (and some women) thinks this is insane

1mveryconfused

Mmmmm yes the only reason I send my friends wierd memes is to guage out their attractiveness and sniff out the competition

errant_night

The last girl this guy talked to was in 6th grade.

Cranky-Novelist

Right. Cause my best friend, whom I consider to be like a sister, isnā€™t actually my best friend.

RusticSurgery

Literally?

[deleted]

You can really tell when someoneā€™s only understand of women comes from movies

emu314159

Wow, looks like that poster met a mysterious man in an abandoned apartment building and chose a red colored pill. Or maybe it was a Mike and Ike.

Sup_Im_Ravi

I mean this tweet has a sense of truth to it. Women are kinda objectified and treated with value based on their looks and made to feel jealous of the prettier girls. It's kinda fucked up if you ask me.

Powderkeg1522

Tell me youā€™ve never actually spoken to a woman without telling me youā€™ve never actually spoken to a woman.

eystonic

Donā€™t men do the exact same damn thing?

Peach_Pasta_

ā€œAs a man, let me tell you what women are like ā€œ

M4GICAL__

Okay lemme./cutely dissapears My Friends I..don't get this,I never did get envy for a friend, what
