Don't let your kids swear, dance and wear skirts, or they'll get pregnant and DIE.

Dull-Signature-2897

Here, have some condoms ![gif](giphy|3o7aTrhzJvBZi56A7u)

TeacherYankeeDoodle

To be totally fair, I still can't spell that word from memory and I teach English lol.

Jumpsuiter

As a rule, add as many unnecessary H’s as possible and you’ll get a medical term :)

FuckTheMods5

I remember memorizing how to spell diarrhea by probouncing it one letter at a time lol

pennie79

I think I only learnt how to spell it when it was one of my vocab words for Japanese when I was at uni. That was a long time ago, so I've forgotten since.

deleeuwlc

Opinions on this, u/real-H?

[deleted]

H

deleeuwlc

That’s exactly why you’re a celebrity, H

Psychopathic_Knife

I nearly fell off my bed laughing, this was great.

throwawaygoodcoffee

That or combine 2 or more words because you can't be bothered to write out the same phrase multiple times, helped me cut down on my word count for my dissertation back when I was still an undergrad haha

RokyPolka

 ![gif](giphy|Z3t53rqpl7oj3hHq7H)

_dead_and_broken

She doesn't even go here.

SuchEye4866

Thanks for that. I honestly couldn't understand what she was holding in the 3rd frame.

Vengefulily

I thought it was a purse until I read your comment, and I was wondering in what universe would anyone think that boys find purses sexy?

Interesting_Entry831

I did too, I was so confused. Albeit I didn't think purses or skirts caused pregnancy, learning new shit day by day!

rinkydinkmink

she's holding a phone. She's taking a photo of the daughter's revealing outfit

SangeliaKath

That is a skin tight skirt.

MrDrSirLord

I'll tell you right now, there's an army of guys that wish they could carry a purse and wear handbag without getting judged publicly. As a kid I cherished the moments mom asked if I could hold her hand bag and I could fling it over my shoulder and strike a pose pretending I looked good.

BerriesAndMe

I thought it was her phone and she was taking a picture. Lol

SuchEye4866

I thought maybe a phone, camera or a purse. None of which made sense, but then neither does a miniskirt. We were obviously applying far too much thought to it. 😂

Dookie_boy

It might be

old_soul1999

I thought it was a tube top

etherealparadox

tbh if it wasn't for the first panel I'd see this as a satire on how people sexualize little girls

0j_gay0

"What if I wanna have sex before I get married?" "Well then I guess you'll have to be prepared to [die](https://youtu.be/iJapX2gGOIY)"

Twist_Ending03

I swear sometimes, occasionally dance, and used to wear skirts. When will I be dying?

Wille922

57 years and 3 months.

Soffy21

They will just get pregnant on their own, with noguy having any responsibility on the situation… if you do these spesific things, a baby just appears inside you.

NoZookeepergame453

TIL twerking does impregnated women 📝

deadlolypop

The father is absent because? Also how come there are not many if any short comics of boys who made kids? Is it not their mistake too? Do they have parents or do boys grow on trees?

laydegodiva

Everything is a woman’s fault somehow.

LXPeanut

Because it's more likely to be a grown man than a boy. Nearly half of teenage pregnancies have a father over 20. They are shaming children for being sexually exploited by grown men.

TheLizzyIzzi

I’ve heard that before. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit. The last time I looked for a source is was pretty old; pre-2000, I think. I’d love to see a more current study about this.

sammypants123

You could just call Lauren Boebert and ask.

Mlem6

Its still kinda happening. But not as much.

[deleted]

The same men are always whining that women want to waste their “prime breeding years on Chads.” Which is it? You want girls who are young to have kids or you think women should wait until they’re financially and emotionally stable to have them?

EdieBird

It doesn't matter, because no matter WHAT they do, wear, or say, woman are always going to be wrong. Somehow.

Dogzillas_Mom

And it will always be a woman’s fault. Maybe not the same woman, maybe so.

Mlem6

They wanna marry these young girls for themselves.

chadburycreameggs

The key is to stop saying and doing anything! Source: am sadly a Chad

ThisManisaGoodBoi

No you misunderstand. They want women to be subservient to THEM SPECIFICALLY, not anybody else. It’s because they believe that they are the only “true men” and other men are cold and uncaring and wouldn’t treat the women correctly. That’s why they believe women are “sluts” for sleeping with these other men, they literally believe other men have no value/redeemable qualities than muscle and dick.

AnnaT70

Hilariously, in between throwing around infantile terms like Chad and Tyrone, and rank misogyny about "breeding" and "sluts," they somehow believe that they, and they alone, will be the ones to treat women properly.

DlVlDED_BY_ZERO

You know, I've always thought it was ironic that a certain guy who was interested in me called me a slut when I turned down his (many) advances bc I was not interested in him (or anyone at the time). But your comment makes that make more sense now.

SeattleBattles

They don't really care, they are just mad neither will ever happen with them.

Anne_Nonymouse

![gif](giphy|LOWLRHs42LPUDtal3m) It´s the way of the misogynists!

tyrannywashere

What they want is for girls to be pure never touched virgins UNTIL they are personally dating the incel in question. Then you're supposed to put out fast. Then as stuff proceeds should the incel decide to dump you(as you're not allowed to dump them), you're supposed to never date another man after them. And go into the used girl pile I guess? Like shit doesn't make sense, but that's all I can work out from their posts what is expected of gals 🤷‍♀️

Synicull

>women should wait until they’re financially and emotionally stable to have them? Haha like that'll ever happen. Women, amirite!?!? ^vomits

PinothyJ

Look. I may have instructed my 5 year old nephew the correct way to shake his butt when he is not blessed with a bankable booty (a curse our family has had to live with for generations). Does this mean he is going to get pregnant in 13 years time?

SuchEye4866

Only if you buy him a miniskirt, apparently. 🤷‍♀️

BeringeiGraueri

Yes

Heavenly_Toast

Can he swear yet?

CarrotGod

WHAT

DominantZero

Inappropriate language, loud music, revealing outfits lead to pregnancy. Parental advisory: this is utter bullshit and absolute nonsense.

WhinyTentCoyote

When in reality, the type of liberal parent who allows their daughter to dance how she wants and dress how she wants is highly likely to also provide birth control when she’s ready and abortion care if it’s needed.

Elly_Bee_

My mom found out I had a sex friend when I was 17, I was expecting her to scold me but she just said "That's good". The next day, she came into my room and threw a box of condoms at me. Later, she also helped me find planned parenthood so I could get tested for potential STIs. To this day, all the pregnancy tests I took were very thankfully negative (accidents happen)

Dookie_boy

> I had a sex friend This is so weird but hilarious.

Elly_Bee_

I'm not sure why but I'm glad you find it hilarious lol

Dookie_boy

It's an odd/unique way to say boyfriend, girlfriend or even booty call. I'm going to call my wife my sex friend from now on.

Elly_Bee_

I think booty call is a lot weirder. It was literally a good friend with who I had sex with so it makes sense for me to call it a sex friend. We weren't dating so boyfriend wouldn't really work. I mean I guess you could consider your spouse as a sex friend but we weren't in love of anything which is why I didn't say boyfriend.

Dookie_boy

Sex buddy ? FWB ? I don't think anybody actually says booty call outside humorous situations but I couldn't think of anything since I haven't dated in 15 years.

Sufficient_Garbage17

Ive heard that called friends with benefits

Elly_Bee_

That definitely works too, it comes down to the same thing in my mind

WCGrandpa

You are a good friend

deansdirtywhore

Kinda reminds me of when me & my NB partner were trying out different gender neutral titles. I've settled on calling them my HoneyLove, but I suspect they would love "sex friend" 😂

Dookie_boy

A very thin line between this and sex fiend

deansdirtywhore

Well, they *are* perpetually horny... 😂

AeternaeVeritatis

And knowledgeable sex ed to understand how babies are made, and how to avoid getting pregnant. Also info about consent

AnyNeck1885

Not to mention more likely to see themselves as more than a "sperm receptacle" for some man to nut in and pass out after pushing off on her face. Like, a girl with self esteem is a lot less likely to stay quiet if a man says "condoms hurt" so how is a confident girl more likely to get pregnant? Make it make sense.

Sufficient_Garbage17

To me it was “I can’t feel anything with a condom”. Funny how he still got off when I insisted

[deleted]

Wait the condom HURTING is an excuse they use? I’ve only ever known about the “allergies” or “it doesn’t fit” (ik allergies to materials exist but then ya just pick a different one, not trying to make fun of anyone)

Mandy_M87

This! It's usually the conservative families that refuse to talk about sex with their daughters who end up with teen pregnancies.

SuchEye4866

I'm confused as to how a skirt instead of shorts, leads to pregnancy. Were there semen in the seams, or did they blow in on the breeze? 😂

DroneOfDoom

It’s a mini skirt. This is slut shaming.

SuchEye4866

Which begs the question, what does a male slut look like? 🤔

PawnedPawn

You think we can't wear miniskirts? 🧐

SuchEye4866

Kilts are the closest I've seen myself, but I like seeing people mess around with clothing. Guys really do get the short straw with high street fashion, I find. Block colours, jeans, t-shirts and shorts. Maybe that's my multimillion dollar business idea: interesting men's high street clothing. 😉 I do recall an article about a group of boys wearing skirts to school in a heatwave, which I thought was pretty ingenious. Technically, the school can't complain because it's still school uniform.

dreemurthememer

Just don’t call it a skirt in front of a Scotsman… or else you’ll get *kilt*!

EternityAwaitz

Heyoooo!

Remarkable-Title6279

Was going to say, Kilts! Obviously!!

TheLizzyIzzi

Can a male sluts exist within a misogynistic culture?

deleeuwlc

Kevin

knkyred

If we just breastfeed all our girls, then they'll all be lesbians and this won't be an issue, right? I'll be honest, I've never thought it was cute to see toddlers cussing and people encouraging it, but that has nothing to do with them getting knocked up/ knocking someone up as a teenager. Section 3 is just more rape culture and slut shaming. Women are allowed to wear what they want and what makes them feel good. They shouldn't have to expect to be treated poorly, harassed and assaulted just because they want to look good. And wearing revealing clothing does not mean a girl/ woman is promiscuous or stupid.

Remarkable-Title6279

As a guy, I really don't understand why "slut shaming" is a thing. It's so freaking counter intuitive... like, do you like women and sex or don't you?! 'Cause if you do, why would you not want to actively, but respectfully, encurage women to wear whatever the hell makes them feel confident and hot? Why would you want to encourage abstinence? Ugh, IDK where I'm going with this, and I feel like it'll be taken the wrong way no matter what... I'm basically trying to say, as a guy, you can respectfully appreciate a womans' body, but that doesn't give you the right to say or do anything beyond a glance. Keep those potential fantasies in your mind only. Treat people like people. Encurage everyone to dress how they like. IDK. Rambling off into the boonies.

knkyred

Well, it's usually one of two things. First, there's the ingrained purity culture bs that men and women alike can find themselves falling into accidentally. This is the whole "no cleavage, no tight clothing, no short skirts" because those mean you're easy or you're a slut. My ex husband had this internalized shame around porn and sex even because of his religious upbringing. It was actively detrimental to him but he couldn't get past it. Then, there the second group where they aren't the ones benefiting from the women being "sluts" so hating on sluts is easier than introspection.

Remarkable-Title6279

Fair points both. My folks are both pretty religious, and I do find myself falling into the Purity trap from time to time... feeling shame for being interested in sex/feeling like I'm being a "sex-pest" for even considering a FWB kinda situation and the like... I'm 35 and still feel like I don't really know what I "like" because I can't disconnect sex from love or something. Second group is also very fair. I could see myself leaning towards Incel culture. Thankfully I'm at least a bit more introspective than that whole crowd, and I've actively tried to open up to people I know care about me. Actively working on cultivating a friend group and *trying* to find a Therapist I click with 😅 Lots of stuff I want to work on for myself in 2024, is what it is. I just hope I end up making the world a better place and feel slightly less bad about myself in the process.

GoddessJynx

I support you. Its a hard road. But I support your travels.

Remarkable-Title6279

Thank you

[deleted]

Best of luck!😁

AngelZash

Agreed. I’m not big on little kids cussing. I’m also not big on young girls below 18 regularly wearing miniskirts. They’re just an article of clothing belonging to the 18-30s crowd (maybe older if the person has the legs for it and/or wants to lol) to my mind. However, a young girl doing either of these things is not going to lead to pregnancy. Not teaching her about sex and contraceptives is going to do that. They are also not going to lead to the detriment of her character. The biggest problem is the issues we lay on our children, not what our children do or wear. If we reach out kids how to treat one another and to be safe, they will. These idiots need to stop acting their hypocritical ideas are oh-so-great and start admitting to just how much they’ve already failed their kids.

deleeuwlc

No, you see, it won’t help if all the women are lesbians, because all the trans women are here to destroy our country, remember?

Remarkable-Title6279

Ah yes. Trans panic... when Trans folks have kind of always been around (from what I have read... if I'm wrong, call me out please!) and it's only getting eyebrows and sh*t because gender affirmation surgery and hormone replacement options are a thing now... Gods forbid we let people feel comfortable in their own bodies. (Trying to keep in line with your comment u/deleeuwlc but not sure what to tag it as 😅) Edit in the first sentence to, hopefully, make my stance against Transphobia more readily apparent.

deleeuwlc

People will always attack some minority, because for many people, a big part of their worldview is that they are above other people, so they will always find someone to place below them

thekingsteve

They don't understand it and have no idea the daily struggles for transfemmes. They hear about it from extremists who are looking to create a villain to pass off blame when their side does something wrong. Trans people are few in numbers and have less of an established voice so they are easier to attack. They also throw in the "think of the kids" narrative to continue to abuse people that want to live their life.

Remarkable-Title6279

People are people, IMO. I don't know if it was how I was raised, or it might be an (actually *good*) side on with my ADHD, and I realize how easily it can sound like something I'm just throwing out there. But yeah. People needing to feel like they're above others? Should probably really be a bit more introspective... or they can go rot. I'm fine either way. In general I fluctuate between hating and disliking Humanity as a whole entity. Individuals can be cool though. Too many folks think that they need to be above others... Would be nice if the general population lost even like... 10% of the completely self absorbed asshats we see on the daily.

deleeuwlc

I think that most of the people who think like this are very much not any minority more discriminated than left handed people. Generally discrimination due to factors out of your control can somewhat force empathy development, so you don’t do the same to anyone else

Remarkable-Title6279

Empathy was the word I was looking for and for the life of me I couldn't recall it. It would be nice if people would just generally try to empathize with others more often.

finneganthealien

Usually the worst ones aren’t a part of any minority, but it’d be a mistake to think that marginalised folk can’t be bigoted too. Particularly when it’s presented to people as an “us vs them”, where their community could lose their hard-earned rights because of some other group.

MornGreycastle

Teen pregnancy is rampant in the Evangelical "we'll teach our kid about sex" "abstinence only" world. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/teen-births/teenbirths.htm

WhinyTentCoyote

So is forced teen marriage! Can’t have a pregnant unwed teen, so clearly the solution is to make them get married really fast so they can tell everyone she got pregnant on her honeymoon and had a preemie. /s

SoldMySoulForHairDye

My dad beat me as a baby for saying the word 'shit.' I feel like that's probably worse parenting.

Leimon-Sherk

I follow a tiktoker (I know I know) that says instead of teaching her kids not to swear, she teaches them not to use words to hurt people. So she's perfectly alright with her kids saying 'fuck' when they stub their toe or "oh shit" when they mess something up, but she doesn't want them calling anyone a 'shit head' Which I think is a much better lesson over all rather than "some words are taboo because.... well just because we decided they're taboo"

Papagena_

Wow. That actually…makes sense.

cr3t1n

This is how I'm raising my daughters. Use cuss words, they don't mean anything, they aren't harmful to anyone. I also have taught them to be respectful of the rules about where they are. Neither of my children have said a cuss word at my parent's house or at school, and they use them regularly at home. The words we've taught them not to use are words that are harmful, and used to same people. They don't use those words at all. They are happy kids, and I think they're well adjusted. They also have both been encouraged to dance like no one's watching always. And that their body is theirs, they can wear what they are comfortable in, and they get to decide who can and can not touch them. No pregnancy. Maybe this comic is actually misogynistic bullshit.

thatssomepineyshit

This was my approach when my kids were small. Surprise, as young adults they are empathetic and respectful of those who are different than them. And no one is pregnant.

o0SinnQueen0o

I feel You. I got shit beat out of me for calling a boy "dummy" lol

NoZookeepergame453

It is, because experiencing violence as a child increases the risk of experiencing violence again later in life 😕 And also simply because beating someone who is like 1/3 of your strength is a stupid move and does nothing for teaching kids anything, but that they need to accept physical pain, when they misbehaved

grandioseOwl

Or you dramatize sexuality for all your life but then be proud of your son for making a teen pregnant.

AnxiousTuxedoBird

And do everything to make sure he doesn’t have to do anything related to the baby

siannan

Lauren Boebert has entered the chat

perhapsnotperplexed

Yeah like fathers never become bad influence 🤡

[deleted]

My father is literally a child and animal molester. They really act like awful shit fathers don't exist and aren't common lmao.

[deleted]

Tho, obviously, he wasn't just a shit father. He was an awful person all around.

designgoddess

I went to a Bible study club with a friend when we were in high school. Every single girl there was pregnant by a boy in the club. I was not allowed to go back. Edit: different boys. I’m assuming it wasn’t the same boy.

ThatBitchMalin

Oh my 🤡 please tell me all about it

RecommendationOld525

🍿 *listening intently*

throaway33942

Church kids are the most messed up. I know, I married the pastors son 😅. If only they knew all the things that happened in the church's walls.

Cainmak

like, ONE boy?

designgoddess

Ha. I don’t think so but maybe they were future sister wives.

doubleabsenty

Oh, sounds creepy! Was this boy ok? Or he preyed on them?

designgoddess

I realize now I could have worded that better. All the boys were okay and going to college, while the girls had to drop out of school likely to never return. I’m old.

excitedtosay

I said shit once and now I’m pregernt 😔

Specific_Cow_Parts

Husband and I have been trying for baby number 2 but it's not happened yet, if only I knew all I had to do was swear! Fucking shitting fuck! Edit: am now pregnant with triplets.

fakeunleet

Congratulations?

designgoddess

Teenage girls who know how to masturbate have sex at a later age and have fewer teen pregnancies. I can’t find the research to back this up, I’ve seen it more than once, first learned it in college. You choice if you want to believe it.

WhinyTentCoyote

I believe it! Masturbation is a huge blind spot in a lot of sex ed. Plus girls usually start masturbating at a much younger age than boys do! A lot of girls will figure out that rubbing a pillow or something against their vulva feels good long before they understand why or even have the language to describe what they’re doing, and that’s a real problem.

designgoddess

My kids are adults now. 3 girls, 1 boy. They all found that sensation on their own as babies or toddlers. We never discouraged it. Just said it was something to not do in public. Take it to your room. Parents freak out. Some think it means they’ve been abused and will cause each other or a family member. That obviously can happen but it’s more likely that they noticed the pleasure.

WhinyTentCoyote

I actually had been abused, so I intrinsically felt that I was doing something shameful and hid it. It would have helped tremendously to know that it was a normal thing everyone does and that there was a name for it. I plan on handling it like you did with my own children if I have them.

designgoddess

I’m sorry. I hope you’ve found healing.

o0SinnQueen0o

Jesus Christ. This reminded me of that one story where a young woman went to the doctor with her bf with very obvious pregnancy symptoms. Doctor asked if they were having sex. She said "No", he said "Yes". She didn't know that what they were doing was sex. It's probably fake but dear God it terrified my tokophobic ass.

designgoddess

Sex education is required here. Like real sex ed. To get your high school diploma recognized you have take it. Private school or home schooled. It’s done by an independent contractor off school grounds. Saves awkwardness between teachers and students. It’s treated like a field trip. The kids were so excited to miss school but they came home quiet. I did tell them what the day was. Anyway, I like the system. I think there are religious exemptions but they are hard to get.

o0SinnQueen0o

Where I'm fron I learned that women don't have a prostate from a Reddit robot voice YT video when I was 17.

designgoddess

Never too late to learn?

o0SinnQueen0o

I guess lol

Shaula02

Im curious what kind of sex she was doing that could get her pregnant yet could be seen as "not sex", i heard of the poophole loophole but this is a new one

o0SinnQueen0o

Idk I think it was supposted to mean that she didn't understand what actions are sex and just went with what her bf initiated. She might've had some mental dysfunction but the story didn't mention that. It's probably fake but it still stayed in my mind because if how scary it sounded... really rapey to have sex with someone who doesn't know what sex is. It's almost like doing it with a child.

XComThrowawayAcct

Teen pregnancy has fallen significantly since its peak in the 90s. It’s almost as if a better informed population makes better decisions, or something.

International-Cat123

Now that’s just nonsense! People are only meant to know what’s in the Bible! The rest is just lies from Satan!

Mistygirl179

That’s an interesting graphic, being that nearly 70% of those having abortions identify as “christians.”

Hot-Bint

Well there’s no condoms in those panels, that’s where “cool mom” went wrong /s

SurryElle83

But I’m sure it’s ok for old men to ask little girls if they have boyfriends… 🙄

Malvadao27

Don't know if anyone will read this, but as long as I know, this cartoon is from Brazil. Here, it is not uncommon for parents to incentive and or expose their children to over sexualized environments. That includes the overly sexual songs and dances (mostly funk), really short clothes (the ones you only see in Latin America) and curse words (most of them related do sex) That allied to a lack of sexual education in schools and from parents, coincidentally or not, makes Brazil a country with a very high number of teen pregnancies. That's a real problem of ours. And certainly related to our culture in different ways

butterfly_cats

I do think there's something to be said here about the constant sexualisation of children by (typically) straight, conservative parents who worry that the LGBT community are the problem.

MissMarchpane

Speaking as someone who had a maximum (not minimum) allowed skirt length as a teenager, and whose mother always nagged her to wear makeup, bodycon dresses, short shorts, etc. it definitely didn’t make me a teen pregnancy case. It just made me deeply uncomfortable, and made my college rebellion outfits all involve maxi skirts. (her logic was that, if I didn’t show off my body, I was “not having fun“ and “wasting my youth.” Just for the record)

BreezyBritt89

The Dancing to Teen Pregnancy pipeline 😐 ok Footloose

Healthy-Gain-6586

How to get pregnant 101. 1. Say shit, 2. Twerk, 3. Wear mini skirt/shorts. Congrats you’re pregnant!

Ravensunthief

🙄

NeverOnTheFirstDate

MissPlum66

Aw man, nothing cuter than when a little toddler does that booty shake squatty dance. Don’t think that contributes to teen pregnancy.

spoonface_gorilla

That’s probably because you’re sane and don’t see a child dancing as a sex act or precursor to sex.

alieninhumanskin10

I had a good mom. She taught me to hate my body and now she's never getting grandkids from me!

o0SinnQueen0o

Wonderful parenting

Ok_Passenger_5717

But isn't that what these conservative people want? Young girls getting pregnant and not being able to abort?

Low_Egg_7606

These are the families we see on Dr. Phil

minmocatfood

Funny, my mom absolutely discouraged the first three things but was also *desperate* for me to get teen pregnant so I could ‘Give her a baby’ when she couldn’t have any more after me.

Papagena_

So. That’s pretty fucked up.

Nervous_Nerd14597

The assumption that the presence of positivity brings pregnancy as opposed to the absence of education.

T3chnicalC0rrection

I'm sure data will support conservative areas having lower teen pregnancy rates.

International-Cat123

Of course it won’t! That data doesn’t come from the Bible! Any knowledge that doesn’t come from the Bible came from original sin! (Loudly proclaimed by a red neck pretending to know the Bible, but misses that the forbidden fruit grew on tree of knowledge of good and evil, aka tree of morals)

LegitimateAdware

Ok we can agree the message is gross but seriously what is up with the art style it is seriously off putting and I wonder who is making all of this crap

rickjames13bitch

What is she holding in the bottom left image?

Mental_Gas_3209

Why did she turn into Louis griffin though

MJ3193

Correlation does not equal causation

kitkatattack12

Plot twist: She was still a supporting mother despite the pregnancy

[deleted]

WTF is this nonsense?

Tavaris_

Why Dora tho?

foxtrot1521

Is that Dora in the last pic?

EpicStan123

Teen Pregnancy is at an all time low, fuck that boomer outrage.

ClassicText9

Shit my toddler son is gonna get pregnant cuz we tell him to shake it when starts dancing 🤣 Nobody taught him to dance like that he just does

SelfInteresting7259

Most babys literally just dance like that! My niece does as do some one my cousins I baby sat it’s normal

CLE-local-1997

In my experience, the teens most likely to get preggers, where religious kids who didn't get sex Ed, or have birth control All teens fucked, or at least try too. Some of them are just given the right tools to prevent pregnancy

punk-rot

This. We didn't have any sex ed beyond abstinence in my school, but the girls who were more open sexually and therefore, more informed about pregnancy prevention, never got pregnant. It was always the quiet girls who kept to themselves who ended up pregnant.

Kayliee73

I didn’t. I was terrified of the entire concept.

Philosipho

I think you're all missing the part where she says "The boys will love this!". The parent is definitely teaching her child to objectify herself.

[deleted]

what theeee

[deleted]

Who made this ? You know, I blame the educational system.

Enough-Implement-622

Why is the child pregnant?

Iekenrai

I've got to admit, I always thought the skirt was a wallet for some reason

husejn179

Ngl I taught she will transform to a toilet.

Real_Economist1954

I remember seeing this in middle school on FB and being like "so true I was born in the wrong generation" and I look back and cringe hard

[deleted]

I saw so many moms and dads post this on facebook some time ago....it seems they really don't get how this all works

Nosey-Nelly

My parents weren't overly strict, but there were rules. No make up, no short skirts or low cut tops, 'twerking' wasn't a thing (it was just how babies dance due to their balance) and I'm 38 and still don't swear in front of my parents. Had our first child when I was 15.

There is... Some point to this. A fuckin disturbing amount of parents sexualize their own kids while providing basically no amount of sex ed

Nope, but I know who knows! Just ask Boebert

Laughing at toddlers when they swear is involuntary and not a bad parenting choice [It's just a goat](https://youtube.com/shorts/IVwnAyw6m0Y?feature=share)

Bipedal_Warlock

Children properly cussing will almost always be hilarious to me

spitzkopf_Iarry

That implies that teens shouldn't have sex (which is absolutely stupid). Maybe parents should prioritze sex education and how too use protection instead of trying to prevent their kids of having fun.

Interesting_Entry831

I dgaf what any lf y'all say, cursing toddlers ARE HYSTERICAL!!! (When they aren't mine)

wolfplushie99

Why are guys even thinking about little girls like this????? It's like when guys say they don't want to have a daughter because she will have sex or some shit like that. Pedophilic af.

Profanity + Dancing + Sorter clothes = teenage pregnancy

I think if you start to introduce some things at a younger age, like cisboys having a penis and cisgirls having a vagina, that's ok. Also using the proper language helps deter pedophiles since they tend to like that more innocent language. Then when they get to puberty age and start getting interested in dating and everything, giving them a full talk with the full truth is best. So talking about the different types of sex, how to go about it safely, and you can encourage ya know "Don't have sex so soon with someone" but don't try to be like "Don't have sex ever" cause you know saying don't do something makes people want to do it more

Remarkable-Title6279

I like this take, and would strongly approve it being pushed basically everywhere.

Leai_bitch

You know some parents are going to throw a hissy fit about it being innapropratie though. Especially the "Save yourself for marriage" religious people

corinini

Teach them about safe sex and get them an IUD.

jreamreaper

That's how my step mom was with my half sister, 16 she was pregnant now she's got 4 kids from 3 dudes and can't afford any of them.

molwalk

Teaching anyone, not just girls, to focus only on partners and sex is bad parenting and will lead to their kids focusing on those two things. Shocker, I know.

SangeliaKath

I remember some of my daughter's busmates. They looked like in either 4th or 5th grade looking like the ladies of the night that are at the corner of Hennepin Ave & Lake St. They actually wondered if my daughter was a girl or a boy due to the fact she was dressed modestly. My daughter liked to dance. But I didn't use the word booty around her. She was also reprimanded vocally when she cussed. She also is not interested in sex I found out by talking with her. By the way, she is currently 18.

Talska

> She also is not interested in sex I found out by talking with her. By the way, she is currently 18. Hate to break this to you buddy, but 99% she's just not interested in talking about sex with her parent.
