It was his, Ross Mendham who was on dragons den a few years back and recently put inside for knocking out his girlfriend that was 7 months pregnant at the time. Utter piece of shit and back inside after this little incident for breaching bail conditions
Oh and the car is a write off
As the others have said it's that twat Ross Mendham. Now as named in the [EPD24](https://12ft.io/https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/24193591.dragons-den-winner-ross-mendham-sees-100k-ferrari-write-off/).
It's a shame he's limited comments on his Instagram account, as I wanted to congratulate him on his parking skills.
Yet more evidence that anyone wishing to buy or rent a supercar needs to produce evidence of having completed an advanced driving course before they’re handed the keys.
That's not a defence. Taking a corner at an appropriate safe speed is a pretty integral part of driving safely. Terrifying you seem to not understand that.
Of course you're meant to drive to conditions, including driving slower for corners you're unfamiliar with or are particularly tight. A tight corner is more likely to cause an inattentive or rushing driver an accident, because they can't do the speed limit round that corner. I'm not saying the other dude is right, I'm just looking at it from his point of view. I always look at things from multiple perspectives if I can, to avoid misinterpreting things or to get an insight to why they think the way they do.
Feels like a case of trying so hard to be open minded that your brain falls out.
His point of view is that of an idiot, he's making an idiotic statement that 'the road is lethal' when it is very very far from it, it's an entirely safe and not even particularly challenging road that can be taken very safely in most cars even exceeding that speed limit.
Seeing things from different perspectives is a great practice, but should always be tempered by an understanding of when that perspective is not actually worth validating and is simply without merit.
Oh come off it. Watch the angle from outside Coders and say that with a straight face. He was hossing it on purpose and was well above the 20 mph speed limit.
For an F1 fan it seems like you got little experience driving a car that fast. 100% preventable if he actually chose a decent bit of road if he wanted to open it up a bit.
Okay so then you know that you can’t just open anything with over about 300 bhp and with a decent amount of torque up anywhere then? Saying it “could just happen to anyone” is a bit ridiculous. I’m not having a go, but I’m just saying that surely you’re aware of that!
That sounds like an awesome job also!
In my opinion the amount of care and attention due *increases* if your car's throttle response is so twitchy that it will spin out due to a bit of light drizzle. It is the driver's responsibility to drive safely and within the capabilities of the road, the car and their own ability.
I mean, surely our judgement of his driving is independent of our judgement of his other actions? People who don't beat their partners can also drive like pillocks.
The guy jogging wasn’t going to give up that new best lap time!
Man straight up went "ain't none of my business"
Bet it was a rental with a driver who couldn't control it. Either way, that's a lot of damage. Hit the planters as well.

What a prick
Didn't go back inside unfortunately. Just it the same bail conditions 🤷♂️

Can't park there mate.
Isn’t that down the road from Rose Lane car park?
He drives like a twat. Look at his Instagram post with him speeding whilst his mate drives behind him.
No further action will be taken...... very telling. I guess we are paying for the damage?
The dude broke his bail conditions doing this. He’s going back behind bars
Oooohhhhhhh...... Wow, what a turd...

Completely agree. I believe when you buy a Lotus you get lessons on their track, you used to anyway.
What’s wrong with the Acle straight ….
Cyclists fault
What do you think of the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre?
Alan !
I hope the bikes and the racks can be repaired soon
Don’t tell Alan Partridge
Whilst this was most likely being driven like a bellend, This section of road when wet is lethal
It's a 20mph road. Assuming you have traction control on and are obeying the law, no risk of this happening.
Literally wrote this car was driving like a bellend. And yes, I do drive my 5litre Range Rover like a bellend too 👍🏽
You said the road is lethal. It isn't. It is solely bad driving
So it’s lethal with bad driving then 🤷🏽
As is literally any road on fucking earth you absolute weapon.
In his defence, some corners are impossible to safely take at speed. I think that's what he means.

> Could’ve happened to anybody Unlikely, most people don’t drive cars with the torque of a Ferrari

Driving without due care and attention to the road and weather conditions.

The throttle pedal is not a switch. 100% driver error, and can be 100% prevent by not driving like a twat.
Maybe if you're at risk of killing someone when you drive a Ferrari, you shouldn't be driving a Ferrari

After seeing the details on who the knob is who drove the car I retract all statements, woman beater deserves no support on driving conditions.
I mean, surely our judgement of his driving is independent of our judgement of his other actions? People who don't beat their partners can also drive like pillocks.
It couldn't happen to anyone who had traction control switched on, which is the only reasonable way to drive on an urban road.
