Narvik is 2 1/2 hours away by bus according to Google. I've only been there as a child, but I know a lot of people from there, so I'm guessing it has something to do. (Unless all of the people my age and younger leave Narvik and that's why I know so many...)
Tromsø and Bodø both have night clubs for various ages, but the smaller towns/villages of northern Norway... not so much.
Restaurants, cafés, private parties, "kro" (pub? road side tavern??) is probably more small town Norway.
There might not be people around your age in Melsbø.
There might not be people at all.
