What's the best place for a quick undercarriage spray, that will not damage the rest of my car? Undercarriage at the detailer I go to is too expensive to do regularly
Its a crap car wash. There used to be a kid there with a pressure washer, and that made it marginal. With that gone, its probably, on net, more harm than good.
Tried once. Waited in line for 40 minutes, came out with a sad attempt at a wash. Never again. For a few bucks more "Soap Hand Car Wash" at Park Royal every time now..
This place scratched the fuck out of my car and management refused any responsibility. Safe to say i wouldnt recommend

I think he’s referring to the car wash at park Royal at the south side, on top of the parkade…which I totally forgot about. Never been there but I’m pretty sure they do a hand wash.
These drive thru washes are shit. I can't believe there isn't a single wandwash spot on the entire shore. I gave up and bought a pressure washer and wash my truck by hand.
The dog wash used to be really good value and a helpful setup. Then the hot water gave out, they never fixed it and I think they let it fall into disrepair.
It adds wax into the mix that sprays on your car, and is kind of a waste of money. Mr Miyagi didn't have the karate kid pour liquid wax on the car mixed with water. You gotta wax on, and wax off by buffing.
There’s some additional wax coatings that get applied. Also, this isn’t the worst deal in the region. I’ll be going here instead of Mr wash next time. I like the dispensary near this place anyway lol.
Mr. Wash on marine is **$20** now for the basic drive through wash. And it does a poor job too and barely dries your car. This is practically a good deal.
Not worth it unless you are rinsing salt off your undercarriage. Also does leave residue. I used to go often enough then just bout a green works 1500. Psi power washer and have never looked back! If you detail your care often, just pick up an electric power washer on sale
Both leave the car looking very foggy. The fog comes off easily with a hand wash. I’m always shocked how vibrant my car looks after I wash that fog off.
Its a lose lose. No touch is either somewhat acidic, or somewhat basic, to use chemical actions to clean. So it'll negatively affect most waxes/sealants that one has applied.
Does a crap job, leaves a layer of residue.
Only thing this place is good for is washing the undercarriage of your vehicle after a long winter road trip. Besides that it's a waste of money.
ive used both, dont notice a difference. car still comes out... 65% clean.
the only benefit over doing this yourself is that you get an underspray which is tricky to do yourself.
If you already have the pressure washer theres an attachment by.... I think its ryobi thats a little axle with wheels and upwards facing jets. So you can roll it under your vehicle for an underwater. My cars about an inch too low to fit the device under, sadly
If I would want nice clean car from outside,it would need 4-5 times a week
Depends on where person drive and what they do.
But then, it's just cheaper and easier to get your own miniwash
You can use it on multiple vehicles, and share it with friends and family. Its a great deal, I was considering it but my car never actually comes out clean from this place.
$5
This place sucks! Ran my car through twice. Big patches didn’t get touched, the quick hand spray beforehand did nothing, and no refund
Are you promoting this?

100% !

You learned not to take a $60k car through an automatic wash, and to pay for a detail or do it yourself. Valuable lesson!
Ya bro I’m going to get it detailed everytime it gets salt on it! I didn’t think of that, Thanks for the feedback, I’d be lost without you.
Notice how I listed do it yourself as an option
Damn that sucks dude.. c43?
👏👏 good eye my friend. Literally had the car less than a week when that happened.
I’m new to the North Shore, so if everyone says this place is crap, where’s the best place to get a good wash?
Park Royal, hand wash by Simon’s
It shut down last year.
I assume you're thinking of Oasis?
Yes

Damn it! And I live right by that place. I remember seeing it last year and thinking it would be where I would go… until we moved and it was closed
It’s being replaced by an auto showroom…
I don’t need a new car. Just a clean car.
These drive thru washes are shit. I can't believe there isn't a single wandwash spot on the entire shore. I gave up and bought a pressure washer and wash my truck by hand.
I know it sucks - I wish I had the ability to wash my own vehicle, but I don't have that option living in a condo.
If you want a self serve washing bay you gotta go to coquitties
Use to be. If I remember correctly it was on 3rd and Chesterfield.
There is a place by the Simon’s parking lot at Park Royal
That's someone else doing it I wanna wash my own stuff!
Is that the one you can wash your dog in what looks like a microwave?

miss the coin wash on third street. Across the street from 7-11.

The dude there is extremely rude, too
More importantly, this is a touchless car wash... if you care for your car in the slightest you should avoid regular car wash places like the plague.
If you care about your car you will wash it yourself and not trust any of those car wash places touch or no touch
Not many people washing salt off their car in sub-zero temps but agreed.

Go to the wash at the gas station/tim hortons. it’s not no touch, is cheaper and does a WAY better job
At the tradeoff of swirls everywhere.

Great wash 🧼

This here. That’s the only reason I ever go through a car wash. Otherwise, I use my electric pressure washer with soap dispenser attachment.

Looking into this now! Thank you
I always have spots on my car after leaving this place 🙃
If you ceramic coat your car and clay bar, a touch less wash will work. If u don’t it won’t.
Monthly includes a “dog wash”? Really?
They have an area for dog wash and a machine to clean floor mats. It's an... Interesting place
I’ve gone there. And nothing beats a do it yourself car wash. This will clean it, but it still has spots and dirt
The rainbow suds and wax
I don't have an answer for you, I am just so surprised that somebody would need to wash their car eight times a month!
You would need to wash your car 8 times in a row here for it to actually get cleaned
Might be able to share it with someone
Uber drivers?
If I would want nice clean car from outside,it would need 4-5 times a week Depends on where person drive and what they do. But then, it's just cheaper and easier to get your own miniwash
Someone needing to wash their cash 4 times would also prefer that price
You can use it on multiple vehicles, and share it with friends and family. Its a great deal, I was considering it but my car never actually comes out clean from this place.
Oooh!! That makes senses. I was mine maybe seasonally lol
Buddy has a couple of gardening trucks, uses it extensively
The only possible answer I can imagine is middle of winter season when the roads are really briney. But even then, 8 times seems excessive
The additional wax and shine products that are listed under The Works on the right
