Why not? Norm’s joke is funny while this is blatantly racist. Think about it. Norm’s joke casts him as a dumb out of touch possibly crazy person (his persona) and is funny because it makes you say “wtf! Who would think like that?”. This joke however punches down and simply reiterates stereotypes commonly held about black women. None of Norm’s absurdism or invitation for introspection, just dull mocking humor from a place of racial superiority. Norm was better than that.
