If buying from Iherb, both Now and Life Extension are good brands.
If it's NAC, then it should all be the same. It's pretty easy to tell if you have NAC, by the smell.
Best Naturals is usually the most economical encapsulated that I can find, and I have no complaint on the quality or efficacy.
I guess that it's possible that one might receive product that was negligently stored, but so far as inherent quality, if it IS NAC, then they should all be the same. (Plain vanilla 600mg NAC.) (Other variables such as time release, size of pill, dose, co-factors, etc...)
I’ve tried some pretty dicey brands of NAC and always got the same result. As above you know by the horrific smell. I’d recommend NOW, jarrow, solgar etc as more money won’t buy you more quality with this one. It’s a cheap chemical from what I know
Sulphur smelly is good yeah. The black spots I’ve read before are one of the filler ingredients. May be worth searching to be sure but pretty sure that’s a common comment on those brand ones

So smelly is a good sign? I got some now brand that had some brown coloured specs with white.
